1. Please give a short summary of your literature review.
Women's magazines have been magazine group occupies, almost every female will read women's magazines, they includes all aspects of content, such as fashion, home, social problem, interpersonal relationship, and so on. Chinese and western cultural has different cultural background, although in home problems and daily life, so every country has its own culture characteristics of women's magazines. We can not help but ask, these magazines and where is the different? They create female image in have different way, their language features and choose their similarities and differences between the sentence and constructs? I refer to a related papers and documents, those are found in a few years ago and have a lot of to-do-research, but most of them are concentrated in advertisements, discusses the content and illustrations, but articles that force on the languages of the articles are not too much, so after consulting a lot of material and articles, from the point of view of the eastern and western language. This paper is built on the differences of the language’s feature in eastern and western women’s magazines.
2. Please present the research framework of your paper.
First I explain the definition of the female language. Reference to the writings of others, I list the characteristics of female language, summarize its different aspects in using. And then, I collected the differences of female language, in use of occations and characteristics. Second, I compare the different aspects of women’s magazines, both the East and the West, in the language and culture. Pointed out the shortcomings of women’s magazines in language. Third, by ways of example, I support the point of view I mentioned. And finally, I summed up conclusions.
3. Please indicate the limitations of your paper.
First, I didn’t find enough paper data, most of my information was found from Internet. Those information were little incompleted in discourse. Second, I didn’t do any investigation, but according to the findings of others, I expressed my opinion. Finally, I think I spent little words in the image of women, I wrote too much about women’s language, this is a pity of my paper.
