His roommates are Ken and Tina. They can’t get along with each other very well. He thinks happiness is more important. His girlfriend is Marcy. (K)Ken － He is confused all the time. He doesn’t know what kind of life he wants. He hates studying. With nothing to de, sleep is his favorite. (T)Tina － He doesn’t want to spend time making friends with Ken and George. He likes to communicate with others by computer. Computer is his life. (M)Marcy－She is George’s girlfriend. She wants to be with George all the time. Because of the reason, she ignores Annie’s feelings. (A)Annie －She is Marcy’s best friend. She likes that Marcy will be at hand always. She is very angry that George becomes her boyfriend. She wishes Marcy and George to break up. But she doesn’t like her evil thinking. Plot 1: There are three roommates who have a bad relationship, but a motorcycle accident changes their lives….. SceneⅠ (Class is just over, w1 and w2 are walking on the way.) M: I would like to eat lunch at Moon Canteen because everything there is quite cheap and delicious, and I want to eat …… A: Hey, I know, I know, your favorite food is noodles. What’s more, every time, you eat so much just like a little pig. M: Err, as you know, I’m just a simple girl and I’m content with the small thing. (They look at each other smiling, and cross their fingers.) A: As a result, your lunch is noodles, and dinner noodles, too. And do you hope that one day your figure will look like the noodles? And then, I will call you “noodle” instead of your name. (They walk hand in hand and can’t help laughing.) M: But you know what? That’s my dream to become the noodles. Believe me; I will only eat noodles from today on. I want to be slim. A: Oh. Are you kidding? You eat things so crazily just like a little pig. Can I believe you again and again? Next time, if you beg for my snacks, I won’t ignore you. (They are talking happily while walking to the canteen.) M: Yes. That’s a problem for me. But I must insist and I believe I can make it. Err, I mean, I will not eat so abnormally and crazily. That’s harmful to my health. A: Okay, this time, I still choose to believe you and now let’s go to eat your noodles. I want to sleep. (K is in the bed, angry and sleepy.) (George and Marcy just keep talking.) M: George, you’re so humorous. G: Ha-ha, I am humorous all the time. (He said with a big laugh.) T: (hits the desk) No more talking. Please stop talking. (At the same time, Ken runs out of the room by slamming the door loudly.) Scene III (Annie calls Marcy.) M: Hello, this is Marcy. I’m nearly late again. (Everyone laughs at Ken because he looks funny.) K: You two, why did you lock me out? I couldn’t take my book bag and get changed. I told you that I was just going to the toilet for a minute, didn’t me? G: Oh. It’s not my fault. I went out first, you can ask Tina. T: My dear roommate, I didn’t hear what you said. You know, I just concentrated on my computer games. K: Come on! Are you kidding? I’m not happy about that. Please don’t do that again. T: Oh…OK. A: Hey, Marcy. I have an idea. How do you think of a movie tomorrow? M: Hmm…I’d like to see the movie, but I’m afraid that … A: Who will be with you? George? M: Yes…. A: Marcy, I’m so disappointed that you fell in love with George, and you forgot me. You said we were friends forever. But ….now George is all your life. What’s the matter with you? M: Nothing. A: Can you forgive me that I misunderstood you? M: I've already forgiven you. Anyway, we’re best friends. A: Thanks, I’ll treat you to dinner…. M: Really? Where will we go? A: ha-ha, Moon Canteen, of course. M: My god! But I have a pain in… A: No problem. Ken is sleeping. George is coming back from a morning jogging. G: Hi, what are you doing? T: I am playing war craft. M: Where is ken? T: Be quiet! M: What? What's the matter? T: Couldn’t you see it? He is still sleeping. M: My goodness! I can't believe this! It’s almost nine. He got to get up now. Doesn’t he remember we are required to make up a three people dialogue for tomorrow's oral class? T: Yes, I do. You wake up Tommy and I will play one more round of war craft. M: You'd better stop playing right now. We don't have much time to prepare this dialogue. Ken! Ken! Wake up! wake up! K: Five more minutes, please. G: No way, Ken. Time really flies. We still have a lot to do. Hurry up. K: (ken sits up in his bed) Can I lie down two more minutes, please, just two more minutes? T: George, can I take a little break? Let me play one round and we will continue our work? K: George, Can I lie down a minute? My back hurts. G: No! No! No! Let's finish our work first before we do anything. We need will power!!! K and T: That's true. We need will power! We want to be a powerful man! I want will power! We want to live a meaningful life!
