He never fails to fascinate his readers; reading him can always be an enjoyable experience.
His stories are basically traditional in nature, or love stories in its various forms.
However, the way he writes his novels merits particular attention. There seems to be some kind of pattern that supports his stories: the hero undertakes a quest, with the guidance of some wise man, and fins the woman he loves and becomes spiritually whole.nullMajor works

The young noble Charles took his rich fiancee, Tina to visit her aunt and spent the holiday. There he met a young lady Sarah, the French Lieutenant’s Woman”. Charles loved science, and had advanced thoughts. He used to collect samples and fossils in the thick forests and spacious valley. During that time he always occasionally met Sarah, who loved freedom very much and had independent characteristic.nullThe common hobby, similar temper and several long talks gradually shortened the distance between the two people. When Charles gradually knew and understood Sarah, he was moved by her unrestrained characteristic and independent spirit. What was more, he had loved Sarah deeply. However, during the Victoria time, facing folk prejudice, real pressure, existing engagement and sincere love, how to choose was a serious problem. My opinionMy opinion This novel has three endings. It gives our readers enough imagination. It leads us to imagine how will Charles to choose at last. Facing his own sincere love and struggle the folk or surrender the reality?

Sarah is a poor lady, but she has a lot of talents. She has firmly belief. She looks forward to freedom, nothing could prevent it. This is what we should learn from Sarah.
