You can also use it to identify context factors that you need to explore in more detail. The following page (p. 2) offers an example of a filled-in template. On the last page (p. 3), you will find an empty template for your use. You can print it out and fill it in by hand, or fill it in on the screen. Instructions 1. Identify the key context factors influencing your project. You will find a list of examples below the template, but these may not be the only ones influencing your project. Write the supporting factors in the column under “Forces supporting change” 3. Write the opposing factors in the column under “Forces opposing change” 4. Rate the importance each factor on a scale of 1-5. Colour the appropriate number of squares to describe your rating (1-5). 5. Use yor forcefield analysis to think about the following questions: , What can I do to change my project so that supporting factors are reinforced and opposing ones weakened? , What can I do to change my context so that supporting factors are reinforced and opposing ones weakened? 6.
