With the rising of living standard,people’s requirement of beauty has been heightened accordingly. Some people spare no money or energy on beautiful clothes, fashionable hair styles,the decoration of their houses and even the improvement of their looks. But in my opinion,beautiful appearance sometimes may not something good. Hedy Lamarr,a major star during the “Golden age”of Hollywood,once considered the most beautiful woman in the world. In the 1940s,she made an enormous contribution to the U. S. Navy with the idea of a secret commucation systerm,but she finally chose to be an actor because of her beauty. But that beauty didn’t take her permenant glory. When in her old age,she once said:if I was not so beautiful,maybe there are more people remember me. From this story,we can see that real beauty is not just good appearance. In contrast, "A person is not lovely for being beautiful but beautiful for being lovely. "In the aftermath of the wenchuan earthquake,for example,a great mother saved her baby by using her own body to against the dilapidation,a text message left with the baby in her arms,”my baby,if you ca survive,remember that I love you”,which drove every readers into tears. Such love was,if anything,the real beauty of human nature that not only excited every chinese but shook the world as well. All in all,I think the standard to judge beautiful is often based on some combination of inner beauty, which includes psychological factors such as personality, intelligence, grace, charm and elegance.
