In my opinion, the Disney World is wonderful. Children as well as adult love it very well. Yes, you can call it as the title of the text: cities of simulation as postmodern utopias. It really an imaginary world but we need it. We need an imaginary world just like in the fairy tale. We are willing to make it beautiful and wonderful with the help of technology.
I remember when I was a pupil I liked the cartoon very much sometimes my father watched them with them and he told my mother it was good if the real life was as simple and happy as the life in cartoon. At that time I could n’t understand father’s word but now I can. Our society is really cruel and we meet so many difficulties and unhappy things but the most important thing is that we can not change them. What we can do is to face the music and try to deal with them. Sometimes we find ourselves are really tired and want to give up we need a place like the Disney World to
relax and comfort ourselves. Even though we know the world does not really exist and it is man-made we are willing to be tricked. In the Disney World there is no intrigue and calculation, there is no deceit and defection. What there are just happiness and laughs.
