Themaster,hiswifeandtheirthreesonsallcamerunningouttorescuethedonkey.Theyweresoangrythattheywouldhavekilledthewolfthereandthen.Fortunatelyforthewolf,however,oneofthesonsthrewaknifeathim.Theknifemissed,butitcuttheroperoundhisneck.Thenextmomentallthefamilycouldseewasacloudofdustintheroadasthewolffledtosafetyinthedarkforest.
