By the way, have you seen the film? 4). Be covered with 覆盖着,布满 The furniture is covered with dust. The ground is covered with snow. 5). Just as 就像,正当…的时候 a).表示“就像…一样”,为方式连接词. Tom is the tallest of the boys in the class. a). 规则变化 1)).单音节词和少数双音节词加词尾-er构成比较级,加-est构成最高级. ①一般情况,直接加词尾-er.neat----neater neatest ② 以e结尾的词,加-r,-st. nice---- nicer nicest ③ 以“辅音字母+y ”结尾的词,改y为i后,再加-er, -est. easy----easier easiest ④ 以一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节\单音节词,双写该字母,再加-er, -est. fat----fatter fattest 2)). 三个或三个以上音节的词称为“多音节词”.多音节词前面加more构成比较级,加most构成最高级. beautiful----more beautiful/most beautiful difficult----more difficult/most difficult b). 不规则变化 good/ well------ better best bad/ badly------ worse worst much/ many----- more most little----- less least far----- farther farthest (具体事物,如时间\路程) ----- further furthest (抽象事物) c). 最高级用法 最高级在使用时,前面通常要用定冠词,后面有一个 短语或从句表示比较范围.the+最高级+表示范围的 教 学 过 程 实 施 教学环节 教学内容与活动 教学方法与手段 短语或从句,如果物/人与物/人之间相比, 用介词of,如果后面跟一个表示范围场所,用介词in. The Yangtze is the longest river in China. 表示位置的介词有: at, in, by, near, between, under 表示方向的介词有: to, into, out, out of, across, along, through 1. under和below表示“在……的正下方”,指垂直上下。below表示“低于某物”,只表示位置低于,但不是在正下方。例:There is a chair under the table.  He saw many hills and rivers below the plane. 2. over和under 表示“在……垂直的上方”,与under相对;above表示“在……的上方”,指高于某物,但不是正上方,与below相对。 例: He is holding an umbrella over his head. An airplane flew above the clouds.   3. between,between 表示“在……之间”,一般用于两者之间.例:He sat between Jack and Lily. 他坐在杰克和莉莉中间。I'm usually free between Tuesday and Friday. 我通常星期二至星期五有空。 4. behind和in front of, behind 表示“在……后面”,in front of表示“在……前面,在……前部”,两者均表示静态的位置. 例:There is an apple tree behind the house.  There is a garden in front of my window.  教 学 过 程 实 施 教学环节 教学内容与活动 教学方法与手段 Step three Preposition of time He could hardly see the road in front of him.   5. by, beside, by和beside均表示“在……旁边”,常可换用 例:The hotel is beside (/by) the river. Come and sit beside (/by) me.  6. across 表示“横过”指横穿过一平面和一条线 例:He walked across the road carefully. 7.through  表示“穿过”,指从某个空间或地区内穿过,从这端进入从那端出来 例:The path goes through the forest. We heard someone laughing in the next room . Have you still not heard from him ? 你还没有收到的来信吗 ? listen 是不及物动词,表示有意识或注意地“听”,交不说明是否听见的结果;必须加 to 才能接宾语。 eg: He often listens to news on radio .
