★Step 1 Leading in 【新课导入】

1.Greeting

2.Ask three students to retell the text.One about the history,another about the popularity and the other about the development of basketball.

3.Read aloud the article in 2b.

2.Finish the task in 3a

①Read the instructions in 3a.Students write their notes about their inventions.

②Think of their problems and inventions to help them.

3.Finish the task in 3b

①Read the instructions.Show the expressions they may use for the ad on the board.

②Write the ad in 15 minutes.

③Read their works to the class.They can learn from each other and help each other.

4.Finish the tasks in Self Check

Activity 1

①Read and review the words in the box.

②Fill in the blanks on their own.The teacher walks around.

③In pairs,correct the work of each other.

④Read aloud the passage until fluently.

Activity 2

①Ask students to say how to write a passive voice sentence simply.

②Ask five students to write the sentences on the blackboard.Other students rewrite the sentences on their own.

③The class look at the blackboard and check.

④Read and translate them into Chinese.

Activity 3

①Read the instructions and understand how to work.

②The teacher leads the class to think back of the inventions in this unit.Quickly and simply describe them.

③Ask students to choose one invention to finish the writing.

1.Review the unit and read the contents in the whole unit.

2.Write about one invention they want.

   This is the last period of the unit.It is important to get the students to use what they have learned in the unit to write something.We will do a lot of work to review the words and expressions about inventions.We can ask the students to make a summary of the passive voice.And then do the exercises.
