仁爱英语九年级上册个单元作文 (一)Changes in Our Hometown In the past ten years, great changes have taken place in our hometown. In the past, there used to be old houses. The river was very dirty. The roads were narrow and the living conditions were hard. People went to work on foot or by bike. But now, there are many tall buildings in my hometown. The river is clean and the water is clear. There are many ring roads and the living conditions are comfortable. People usually go to work by bus or by car. I am glad to see thes e great changes in my hometown. But I think it’s still important to remember the past. It tells that we should cherish the present life. (二)The Population Problem The Population is one of the biggest problems in the world today. China has the largest population with 1.3 billion. It’s about one fifth of the world’s population. A large population causes many difficulties, not only for every family, but also for the whole nation. It has become a serious problem. In many less developed areas, some parents prefer boys to girls. As a result, many girls can’t go to school. I think we should do something to control the population. One answer is known as the one-child policy. It has worked well in controlling China’s population. (三)Saving the Earth How to protect the environment has become one of the biggest problems in the world. There are many kinds of pollutions around us, such as air pollution, noise pollution, water pollution and light pollution. We can find that rubbish not only pollutes our environment but also harms people’s health. So we should not throw rubbish everywhere. Some factories pour waste water into the rivers and the lakes. The behavior of these factories will pollute the water, and sometimes it can kill the fish living in them. We have only one earth. We must keep our environment clean and tidy. We must try our best to protect her, and make our home more beautiful. (四)How to Be a Greener Person It’s our duty to protect the environment around us. The three Rs—reduce, reuse and recycle—are important. I think we’d better not buy bottles or boxes which people can only use once. We should turn off the lights when we are not using them. We can give old clothes to others to reuse them. When we go shopping, we’d better take a cloth bag rather than use plastic bags. We shouldn’t throw things away if they can be reused, repaired or recycled. It’s important for us to protect animals and plants. We are supposed to prevent the factory from pouring waste water into rivers, lakes and so on. If everyone is doing that, our world will become more and more beautiful. (五)How to Protect the Animals Animals are our friends, but human beings often kill them for meat, fur and money. What should we do to protect them? Our government has done something to protect animals, such as passing laws and setting up some nature reserves (自然保护区). Under the laws, we mustn’t hunt or kill these animals or destroy their living conditions. On the other hand, we shouldn’t eat wild animals. Keep them away from our dinner. There will not be wild animals on sale. I think the hunters and killers will become fewer and fewer. Last, we shouldn’t pollute our environment so that animals can have a good living environment. We should stop people from cutting trees down. Without trees, wild animals will lose their home. And we’ll lose our animal friends. All of us must do our best to protect animals. (六)Let’s Study English Well English is widely used around the world. It’s used as the first/official language in many countries. It’s also used as a second language in many other countries in the world. It’s important for a businessman or a businesswoman t o learn English well. English is a popular language of the world’s airlines and international business. And two thirds of the world’s scientists read and write in English. About 200 million users of the Internet communicate in English, too. What’s more, th e 2008 Olympic Games was held in Beijing, and this calls for the whole nation to learn English. English is becoming more and more important in our daily life. We should study it well. (七)How to Use the Internet I have recently made a survey among 30 boys and 30 girls in our school about their purposes of surfing the Internet. All the boys and girls like chatting very much. What the boys like most is playing games and shopping is the girls’ favorite. Both boys and girls like to read news or send e-mails through the Internet. Maybe they think it’s the most convenient way to get information or keep in touch with friends. Only several of them use Internet as a tool to study. So I think students should be guided to use the Internet better. (八)The world The world is becoming better and better. But it still has many problems. Some people are still living a hard life. For example, there’re many homeless people all over the world. They have to live on the streets. Some children have to be laborers for a living, instead of going go to school. What’s worse, sometimes cruel wars break out in some areas. I feel sorry for them. I hope society can provide warm houses for these people to live in, and they can enjoy the same community services as others. I hope the world will be peaceful and full of love, and everyone can live a happy life. 这个世界正变得越来越好。但它仍存在着许多问题。有些人仍过着艰苦的生活。例如,有许多无家可归,世界各地的人们。他们要住在大街上。一些孩子需要劳动力为生,而不是去上学。更糟糕的是,有时是残酷的战争爆发地区。我为他们感到难过。我希望社会能够提供温暖的房子里,对这些人,他们可以享受同样的社区服务他人。我希望这个世界将是和平的,充满爱,每个人都能过上了幸福的生活
