故障暂态行波过程的波源就是在故障附加网络中突然并联于故障点的附加电压源,其幅值与故障点在故障前的稳态电压数值相同但极性相反,该附在此基础上,通过式(3)可计算出过渡电阻的初始值,为:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ pandrestore.Therefore,basedontheanalysisofgenerationmechanismandtransmissioncharacteristicoffaultgeneratedtransienttravelingwavesonHVDCtransmissionlines,asetsofon-linemethodsforfaultresistancemeasuringwerepresented,i.e.initialvaluemethodusingmagnitudeoffaultinducedinitialsurge,mediumvaluemethodbasedonmagnituderelationbetweenaforwardsurgeandcorrespondingreflectedsurgeatfaultpoint,andsteadystatevaluemethodusingpost-faultvoltageandcurrentsignalsofbothlineterminalsatsteadystate.SimulationshowsthatthepresentedmethodsforfaultresistancemeasuringofHVDCtransmissionlinesarefeasibleandwithhighaccuracy.
