学校简介英文---全部HENANUNIVERSITYOFTECHNOLOGYHenanUniversityofTechnology(HAUT),underthedualadministrationofStateMinistryofGrainofChinaandHenanProvincialGovernment,asoneofthekeyuniversitiesinHenanProvince,wasfoundedin1956.NowHAUThasdevelopedintoanimportanteducationandresearchbaseintheindustryofgrain,plantoilandfoodofChina.LocatedintheHigh-TechDevelopmentZoneofZhengzhou,HenanProvince,HAUTcampuscoversanareaof185hectares.TheUniversityprovides61bachelordegreeprogramsand108masterdegreeprograms,covering6mainmajoracademiccategoriessuchasengineering,agricultureetc.HAUThas20colleges,withanenrollmentofmore25000full-timestudents.Thereare15researchplatformsofthenationalandtheprovinciallevels,and25keydisciplinesofHenanProvince.HAUT,asthemaincollaborativepartnerof“HenanGrainCropsInnovationCenter”,hasbeenenrolledinto“2011Plan”ofthefirstnationalcollaborativeinnovationcenter.Asauniversitythathasdistinctivefeaturesinresearchandeducationongrain,plantoilandfoodtechnology,insuper-hardmaterialsdevelopmentandotherrelatedfields,HAUTgathersahighlevelfacultywithstrongresearchcapability.Withasolidtechnologydevelopmentandresearchfoundationintheaspectsofthegrainstorage,agricultureproductsprocessing,abrasivesandgrinder,HAUTexertsastronginfluenceonabovefieldsdomesticallyandeveninternationally.EDUCATIONQUALITYThereareover25,000fulltimestudentsandnearly2000facultiesinHAUT.Sinceitsestablishment,therehavebeenmorethan100,000professionalsgraduatedfromHenanUniversityofTechnology.ThegraduateshavebecomethebackboneforChina’sgrainindustryandChina’sabrasiveandsuper-hardmaterialindustry.HAUTregardstheeducationqualityasitslife.HAUTwasappraisedasExcellencebytheMinistryofEducationintheundergraduateeducationqualityevaluation.ForlongtimestudentsofHAUThavebeenpresentingstrongcomprehensivequalityandcreativity.Forinstance,intheChallengeCupCompetitionofCollegeStudentsforExtracurricularAcademicWorks,HAUThasattained5consecutivefirstplacesamongallthecollegesanduniversitiesinHenanProvince,andHAUTrankedthe10thplaceamongalltheChina’suniversities,beingawardedthe“SpecialPrize”andthe“ChallengeCup”.TheannualemploymentrateofgraduatesHenanUniversityofTechnologyranksthefirstamongthealltheuniversitiesinHenanProvincesuccessivelyinthelastseveralyears.HAUTwasgrantedeachyeartheModelSchoolforitsemploymentworkbyHenanProvincefor9years.For2consecutiveyearstheStateMinistryofEducationawardedHenanUniversityofTechnologythe“ModelUniversity”fortheemploymentworkofthegraduatesamongalltheuniversitiesinChina.Inthelastseveralyears,HAUTwasalsolistedastheTopTenMost-SatisfiedPublicuniversitiesofHenanProvince,theMostInfluentialEducationBrandsinHenanProvince,theMostIdealUniversitiesofHenanUniversities,andoneofthetop50universitiesinemploymentnationally.SCIENTIFICRESEARCHAdheringtothestrategyofstrengtheningtheuniversitybybacking-upscientificresearch,HAUThassuccessivelywon7NationalScientificProgressPrizes(onefirstprizeand6secondprizes),takingagreatstepinscienceandtechnologyinnovation.HAUT,asthemaincollaborativepartnerof“HenanGrainCropsInnovationCenter”,hasbeenenrolledinto“2011Plan”ofthefirstnationalcollaborativeinnovationcenter.Thereare16nationalandprovincialscientifictechnologyinnovationplatformsinHAUTnamelyNationalwheatandcorndeepprocessingEngineeringLaboratory,NationalGrainStorageanTransportationEngineeringLaboratoryetc.Furthermore,thereareover60academicresearchinstitutionsnamelyHenanProvincialUniversityEngineeringTechnologyResearchCenterofSuperhardMaterialsandProducts,HenanProvincialUniversityEngineeringTechnologyResearchCenterofmanufacturingautomation.Inrecent4years,HAUThasundertaken123nationalnaturalscientificfundprojectsand454provincialscientificresearchprojectsindifferentfields.Thereare39nationalandinternationalindustrialstandardswhichareestablishedormodifiedbyHAUT;HAUTpossessesmorethan106patents,publishedupto10681academicpapers,amongwhichthereare1596SCI,EI,etcacademicpapers;andmorethan245academicbooks.SOCIALSERVICESHenanUniversityofTechnologyattachesmuchimportancetoitsfunctionsservingforthesocialdevelopment,closelyfocusingontheimprovementofgrainindustrytechnologyandlocaleconomyconstruction.Intheareaofgrainandoilprocessing,nearly70%largeandmedium-sizedenterprisesofwheatprocessing,50%vegetableoilprocessingenterprises,90%soybeanphospholipidsprocessingenterprisesinChinahaveadoptedthepackagedtechnologyprovidedbyHAUT,popularizedandappliedinsoutheastasiancountries.Intheareaofgrainstorage,thegrainstoragepackagedtechnologyandequipment,granarydesigntechnology,grainoilprocessingandlogisticsparkplanningdesigntechnology,whicharedevelopedbyHAUT,havebeenappliedwidespreadinthestoragegrainsystemnationallyandprovincially.ThelossofChina’sgraininventoryremainsbelow1%.Intheareaofsuperhardmaterialsandproducts,theproductiontechnologyofthesuperhardmaterialssynthesisandsuperhardproducts,whichisdevelopedbyHAUT,hasbeenwidelyappliedintheprocessingandmanufactureoflightindustryappliance,high-iron,andautoparts.Intheareaofequipmentmanufactureindustry,thedigitaldesignandmanufacturetechnology,enterprisesinformationtechnologyandnewmaterialstechnology,whicharedevelopedbyHAUT,widelyjointheenterprisestechnologyinnovationandtechnologydevelopmentviatheintegrationofindustry,learningandresearch.Intheareaofregionaleconomyplanning,HAUThasparticipatedindevelopmentplansoffinance,logistics,informationandindustryclusterdistrictindifferentindustriesandlocalareas.INTERNATIONALEXCHANGEANDCOOPERATIONHenanUniversityofTechnologylaysmuchemphasisoninternationalexchangesandcooperation,HAUTkeepsintimatecooperativerelationshipwithmorethan50well-knownforeignuniversitiesandinternationalinstitutionsofscienceandtechnology,suchasKansasStateUniversity,U.S.,theUniversityofReading,U.K.,thePolitecnicodiTorino,theInternationalStandardOrganization,theInternationalAssociationforCerealScienceandTechnology,etc...HAUTprovides5jointeducationalprogramswiththeUniversityofReadingandBangorUniversity,andajointeducationalinstitutewithAberystwythUniversity,U.K.,whichpromotetheeducationalinternationalizationofHAUT.HAUTestablishedtheHenanCampusofthePolitecnocodiTorinoinHAUT,conductingcooperationinjointresearch,education,andjointPhD.Programs.HAUTdevelopsexchangeprogramswithover30universities,i.e.UniversityofWisconsin-Milwaukee,U.S.,UniversityofCentralArkansas,U.S.,EasternWashingtonUniversity,U.S.,GreifswaldUniversity,GER.,UniversityofWarsaw,PL.,ChosunUniversity,KRandTaiwanChineseCultureUniversity,.etc.forcoursecreditandrecognitionandtransfer.HAUTistheonlyuniversityinHenanprovinceapprovedbytheMinistryofCommerceofChinesecentralgovernmentwhichcanundertakestateaidsprogramstoforeigncountries,suchashostingspecialtrainingworkshopstoofficialsandengineersfromdevelopingcountries.Inthepast5years,HAUThashosted12sessionsoftrainingcoursessuchas“WorkshoponGrainStorageTechnologyforDevelopingCountries”,“SeminaronFoodSecurityforDevelopingCountries（cooperatewiththeOHRLLSoftheUnitedNations）”,“WorkshoponPrimaryEducationforAfricanCountries”,“TrainingCourseonChineseShaolinMartialArtsforDevelopingCountries”,etc..Therearealtogetherover300officialsandengineersfromover60otherdevelopingcountriesparticipatinginthetrainingprojects.Toensurethequalityofthetrainingprojects,famousexpertsareinvitedfordeliveringlectures;on-the-spotvisitstoindustriesareorganized;specialtopicssuchastheChinesegrainprocessingtechniques,foodsecuritycontrol,grainstoragetechniqueswhichmatchthedevelopingcountriesareselected.China-aidtrainingprojectshostedbytheuniversityexertmuchinfluenceondevelopingcountriesinthefieldofgrainindustry,helpingthedevelopingcountriestoimprovevastlythescientificdevelopmentofthegrainindustryoftheirowncountries.Accordingly,frequentinternationalcooperationfortechnologicaldevelopmenthasbeenimprovedbetweenChinaandtheotherdevelopingcountries,suchasthecooperationwithKingdomofCambodia,Cameroon,Zimbabwe,etc.infieldsofgraintechnologycommunicationandeducation.INTERNATIONALEDUCATIONHAUThasbeenqualifiedbytheMinistryofEducationofChineseGovernmenttoundertakeinternationalhighereducation,recruitinginternationalstudentsforChineselanguagetraininganddegreeprograms.Attractedbythestrictteachingmanagement,highteachingquality,superiorstudyingandlivingconditionsandsurroundings,eachyearmanyinternationalstudentsfromtheU.S.A.,Korea,Japan,etc.,cometoHAUTtopursueBachelor’sDegree,Master’sDegreeorstudyChinese.InternationaleducationhasdevelopedintoanimportantpartoftheeducationalsystemofHAUT.
