Abstract
Language is thought of as the quintessence of the development of human society. As a mirror of the society, language reflects the specific social values and thinking modes. It is efficient and favorable to probe some certain linguistic phenomena. There is a lot of language on women’s sexual discrimination in modern Chinese, which is based on
gender. This paper focuses on discussing the sexual discrimination through characters, words formation, words order and semantics, etc. And efforts are made to tap the socio-cultural origins under the phenomena, which are helpful for us to understand and eliminate the sexual discrimination in Chinese modern Language to contribute to gender harmony.

论汉语中的性别歧视
——从文化根源探究消除对策
要 摘
语言一直被认为是人类社会发展的结晶,是人类社会的一面镜子,反映了一定时期内某一社会特定的价值观和思维模式,是探究某一社会想象的必经之路。现代汉语中有许多文字和俗语是针对女性的,存在一定程度上的性别歧视。本文主要从汉字构造,词语演化和排序,以及汉语语义各方面讨论了现代汉语中存在的性别歧视现象。并分析这些现象出现和持续的文化根源,我们需采取措施来消除这些语言中的歧视 ,以期为构建两性和谐做出贡献。
