MAX TNT前面板
MAX TNT包括主机箱和扩展槽两部分:
(一) 主机箱包括机箱顶端的机架控制器和电源模块。
1、机架控制器
机架控制器从左至右依次包括多机架级联口、以太网网口、Flash扩展槽位(双槽位)、DRAM扩展槽位、机架旋转开关、Console口和告警接口。
多机架级联口包括上联(UPLINK)和下联(DOWNLINK)接口,用于进行多机架的配置时进行级联用。
以太网网口包括一个10Base-T口和一个AUI口,可根据连上的接口进行自适应。
Flash扩展槽位用于插扩展Flash PCMCIA卡(8M),有2个槽位,可支持2块Flash卡的扩展。
DRAM扩展槽位用于DRAM扩展,目前可插32M扩展卡,使TNT内存达到40M。
机架控制器有一个标上1-9的旋转开关。 这个开关用于MAX TNT多机架配置。 在单机架配置中它应该被配置为1。
Console口用于管理员通过它来直接对MAX TNT进行操作。
告警接口可接告警灯,MAX TNT出问题时可通过告警灯进行告警。
2、电源模块
电源包括两个互为备份的可热插拔的交流(或直流)电源模块(机箱背板右侧)以及位于右下角的电源控制器。
(二)扩展槽位
MAX TNT背板含16个扩展槽位;槽位地址号是从上到下由1至16号,(机架控制器在顶端槽位,槽位号为17)。扩展槽中目前常用的卡包括以下几种:
(1) 10Base-T以太网卡(4个10-Base-T口)
(2) 100Base-T以太网卡(4个10-Base-T口,一个100Base-T口)
(3) FDDI卡(4个10-Base-T口,一个FDDI口)
(4) E1卡(8个E1口)
(5) HA96卡(Hybrid Access Card,含96个HLDC口)
(6) 数字Modem卡(48口卡,该卡占有双高的槽位)
(7) 串口广域网卡(4口)
(8) HSSI卡(单口52M接口)
MAX TNT背板
另外,MAX TNT还包括IDSL卡、SDSL卡、ADSL卡、FrameLine卡、模拟Modem卡等,用户可查阅相应的TNT文档。
二、MAX TNT的配置
(一)、MAXTNT基本配置命令
1. 用show命令显示各种部件
2. 用dir命令显示各种部件的各个子单元
3. 用read命令读出各个子单元的配置文件
4. 用list命令列出配置文件的配置参数(包括配置子项)
5. 用set命令配置各个配置参数
语法:
set 配置参数 = 参数值
例如:
set signaling-mode = e1-chinese-signaling
6. 用new/delete命令添加/删除新的配置参数
例如:
new ip-route asiainfo
例如:
delete ip-route asiainfo
7. 用write命令保存配置
(二) 配置MAX TNT前的准备工作
1、打开电源,启动MAX TNT并变换成管理员身份(退出管理员身份用quit):

如发现所示选项与订购选项不符,可通过代理商向Ascend申请对应选项的授权。(例如:对几乎所有用户r2-signaling-enabled一般均设为yes,订购ISDN选项的机器data-call-enabled = yes)

如发现一些已安装的卡未被识别,或不能正常初始化,一般情况下有两种可能:
(1) 卡没插好 ─── 可先关机,重新插卡,开机重试;
(2) 软件不能识别───可询问代理商,升级软件(有关升级,详见附录及相关文档)。
如问题依旧,可向相关技术人员询问。
(三) MAX TNT 的基本配置
1. E1配置
(1). 为了配置E1 口,我们首先需要查明其所在槽位。这可以通过在命令提示符下输入"show",或"dir e1"看到插卡位置。
(2). 其次,输入"read e1 {
}"读出E1配置,如果E1卡插在槽1,同时如想读出E1卡上第一个E1端口的信息,应该输入:
"read e1 { 1 1 1 }"
(3). 利用"list"可列出E1配置文件中的参数。为了查看到相关接口的配置,可输入"list line-interface",通过该命令,我们可以看到与MAX4000 Net/E1菜单中相近的参数配置。如想查看E1中各信道配置,可输入"list channel-config"。使用"set"命令可配置和改变参数值,使用"write"命令将现有配置从工作内存写入NVRAM,以便永久保存。
具体E1配置如下(以一个E1R2配置为例):

各信道在一般情况下应设为”switched”。若有需要,如将相应信道配置成DDN信道,可对相应信道进行配置(设为”nailed”)。
2. 配置以太网卡中的以太网口
(1). 命令"show"列出MAX TNT中各种插卡所在槽位:

4. MAX TNT中的"呼叫路由"(Call Routing)配置
"呼叫路由"发生在 MAX TNT 授权一个呼叫或与远端设备建立会话之前。
当MAX TNT收到一个呼叫时,执行以下步骤:
a. 接收呼叫。
b. CLID 鉴别(如果占用)。
c. 回答呼叫。
d. 向HDLC 或者调制解调器卡发送呼叫。
e. 寻找呼叫者的配置文件(本地或在RADIUS 中)。
f. 鉴别。
g. 建立会话,并且将数据流转发到相应的软件模块去处理。
MAX TNT 自动为每块卡建立一个"呼叫路由"配置文档:

附录:软件版本说明、升级软件、保存配置
(1) 软件版本说明
目前MAX TNT所应用的软件版本主要为2.0.x和2.1.x两个版本,可通过以下方式获得:
1、 匿名登录到ascend的ftp服务器──ftp.ascend.com;
2、 进入目录 “/pub/Software-Releases/MaxTNT”;
3、 往下进入到想获得的软件版本所在的子目录下;
4、 在该目录下Download以下2个文件:
(1) tntsrb.bin( 在1.3Ap24版中为tntsre.bin,该软件为MAX TNT的系统核心软件);
(2) tntrele.tar(该软件用于驱动TNT所插的各种扩展卡);
另外,用户还可以在该目录的”doc”子目录下获得对该软件版本的详细说明。
(二) 升级软件
1保存现有配置到tftp服务器上
保存现有配置到tftp服务器上是为了防止当前配置在升级过程中丢失,以便恢复原配置。
save network 172.31.4.33 tnt.cfg
[将现有配置保存到位于172.31.4.33的tftp服务器下,文件名为tnt.cfg]
2 装载机架控制器软件:
load boot-sr network 172.31.4.33 /TNT/tntsrb.bin
[从位于172.31.4.33的tftp服务器装载 boot-sr 文件]
3重启该系统:
reset
4 格式化Flash卡
快闪卡将包括装运的最新的软件。并可以随时进行升级软件。有关软件应和相应的机架控制器和插卡相匹配。 以保证有效的驱动相应的卡设备。
format 1 (格式化第一块Flash卡)
5 装载卡驱动软件:
load tar network 172.31.4.33 /TNT/tntrele.tar.
[从位于172.31.4.33的tftp服务器装载 tar 文件]
6 重启系统
reset
7 从tftp服务器中恢复原配置到MAX TNT中:
load config network 172.31.4.33 tnt.cfg
附:
从console口装载机架控制器软件:
load boot-sr console.
[你将看到 "ckckckckc" 指出主机已开始准备Xmodem协议传输,这时可以上载软件]
注意: 卡驱动软件必须经tftp装载.
(二) 存储和调用MAX TNT 文档配置
1. 通过console口。
通过能进行ASCII text upload 和 download的终端仿真程序(如: Procomm Plus, Windows)
经console口存储和调用MAX TNT 文档配置.
存储MAX TNT 文档配置到console口:
打开终端仿真程序 ASCII text capture或开始download。
admin> save -a console
从console口调入文档配置到MAX TNT中:
admin> load -v config console
开始你的 ASCII text upload。
2. 通过tftp服务器。
假设tftp服务器运行在一台IP地址为192.168.1.1的主机上。
存储MAX TNT 文档配置到tftp服务器:
admin> save -a network 192.168.1.1 myconfig.cfg
从tftp服务器调入文档配置到MAX TNT中:
admin> load -v config network 192.168.1.1 myconfig.cfg
注:用户可以从Ascend FTP站点或Ascend代理商获得TNT的配置文档。
