part.Fordatedreferences,subsequentamendments(excludingcorrections),orrevisions,ofanyofthesepublicationsdonotapplytothispart.Howeverpartiestoagreementsbasedonthispartareencouragedtoinvestigatethepossibilityofapplyingthemostrecenteditionsofthenormativedocumentsindicatedbelow.Forundatedreferences,thelatesteditionofthenormativedocumentreferredtoapplies.YS/T371MethodsforchemicalanalysisofpreciousmetalsalloysGeneralrulesandregulations.MethodabstractThetestportionshallbedissolvedwithmixedacid,tungstenwasprecipitatedintoyellowtungstentrioxide.Theamountoftungstenwasdeterminedbygravimetricmethod.ReagentandmaterialUnlessotherwisenoted,reagentsandutensilareinaccordancewithYS/T371.4.1Hydrochloricacid(ρ1.19g/L).4.2Nitricacid(ρ1.42g/L).4.3Mixed acid:3unitvolumehydrochloricacidmixed with1unitvolumenitricacid(4.2),compoundasneeded.4.4Nitricacid(1+9).4.5Silver nitrate solution(10g/L).4.6Ammoniumhydroxide(1+1).SampleThesamplesshouldbeprocessedintofragments,removeoilstainswithacetone,washedwithwater,driedandmixedwell.Analysisprocedure6.1TestportionWeigh0.5gtestportionaccurateto0.00001g.6.2DeterminationofthenumberTwoindependentdeterminationsshouldberequired,andaveragetheresults.6.3BlanktestBlanktestshallbedonealongwiththetestportion.6.4Determination6.4.1Theportionshouldbeplacedina250mLbeaker,thencoverthesurfacedishandadd20mL~30mLofmixedacid,Heatingthesolutionatlowtemperatureontheelectricstove.Duringdissolution,mixedacidscanbeaddedrepeatedlyuntiltheblackparticlescan’tbeobserved,thatwasconsideredcompletelydissolved.Thesolutionshallbeevaporatedtoabout10mL,thenremoveandcooltoroomtemperature.6.4.2Adding30mLwater,Thesolutionshallbefilteredbyadoublelayerofdenseashlessfilterpaperinaφ5cmfunnel.Washingthebeakerfourtimeswithnitricacid(4.4),about6mLeachtime,Scrubbingtheedgeofthebeakerwithaglassrodwithrubberhead,theprecipitationshallbetransferredintoafunnelasmanyaspossible,washingthebeakerwithnitricacid(4.4)andprecipitateuntiltheycan’thavechlorideions(silvernitratesolutiontest).Theprecipitateandfilterpapershallbetransferredintotheconstantweightcrucible.Theoriginalbeakershallbedriedatlowtemperature,andthetungsticacidadheringofthebeakerwallshallbeswabbedwithasmallpieceofashlessfilterpaperwhichhasbeenwettedbyammoniawater,itshallberepeatedthreetimes.Putthefilterpaperintotheoriginalcrucible.6.4.3Dryingthecrucibleandfilterpaperatlowtemperature,ashandburnat850℃for20min.Removingandcoolslightly.Placeinadryerfor60minandthenweigh.Thecrucibleandfilterpapershallbeburnedagainuntiltheywereconstantweight.7CalculationofanalysisresultsThemassfractionoftungstenωWshouldbecalculatedaccordingtoformula(1),andthevalueisexpressedas%:.ωW=(m1-m2)×0.7930m0×100----------------------(1)Intheformula:m1isthemassoftungsten trioxideandcrucibleingrams(g).m2isthemassofthecrucibleingrams(g).m0isthemassofportioningrams(g).0.3161istheconversionoftungsten trioxidetotungsten.Theresultsshouldbeexpressedtotwodecimalplaces.8Tolerance1Thedifferencebetweenlaboratoryanalysisresultsshouldnotbegreaterthan0.10%.
