AT RISE: Neighbor吴and Neighbor王are talking to each other. Neighbor吴:Tomorrow is Chinese New Year?s Eve. Neighbor王:Oh, my god!It?s Chinese New Year?s Eve again. Neighbor吴:We must run away today or we will be eaten by the terrible monster. Neighbor王:Yes, I remember it comes to the village every year. Neighbor吴:And eat all the people. Neighbor王:That?s terrible!Old man杨?s families were eaten by the monster last year. Neighbor吴:Oh, that poor man who lost her family. She must be very sad. Neighbor王:We must tell her to run away with us. Neighbor吴:Yes, don?t let the tragedy['tr?d??d?](悲剧)happen again. Neighbor王:(Run to the Avenger杨?s home) Old man, Old man, you must run away with us now. Neighbor吴:Yes, take your baggage and go with us. Neighbor王:Hurry up, we have no time to waste. Helper罗:I?m too hungry to run. Can you please give me something to eat? Avenger杨:All right, all right. Helper罗:(Eating foods) Why don?t you run away like everyone else? Avenger杨:I want to kill the monster because it ate my families. Helper罗:But it is too difficult. Avenger杨:I don?t care. Helper罗:Do you have any method to deal with it? Avenger杨:Um, I don?t know. (When it sees the red paper on the door.) Oh, my god, it?s the color red, I?m afraid of it. Stay away from me. Helper罗:(Opens the door, and they are wearing red clothes) You bad monster. Now it?s your turn to feel afraid. (They set off firecrackers['fa??kr?k?].) Monster孙:Oh, my god~ I can?t take it anymore. Please forgive me. Avenger杨:You ate all my family. How can I forgive you? Monster孙:I?m sorry. I will do anything you say if you only let me go. Helper罗:I think the monster feels very sorry now. Monster孙:Yes, Yes, I …m so sorry.
