The analsis of teahing material: M speeh is Setion A , Unit 5. Do ou have a soer ball This is an important lesson in Book One. And it is the first lesson of this unit, it talks about reognizing objetsand the si-mp-le question. .The students have alread knon to anser it"Yes" or "No" in Unit 2 ,but in this unit, it's different. We kno, si-mp-le question is a kind of important struture. If the students an learn it ell, it ill be helpful to make the students to learn the speial question. And it's related to our dail life losel, so it's ver useful. Ne ords: basketball, soer ball, volleball, ping-pong ball, ping-pong bat, tennis, tennis raket. Struture: Do ou have Does he she have Teahing aims: Aims on the knoledge: To stud the ords about balls b shoing the pitures. To make the students kno ho to ask hether others have something or not, and ho to anser it. Aims on the abilities: To develop the students' abilit of listening ,speaking, reading and riting. To train the students' abilit of muniation. Aims on the emotion: ?.To make the students be interested in good o-operation and petition. ?To make the students love sports ,love life. Teahing ke points and diffiult points: Ho to make the students understand the ne language items naturall. Ho to make the students ork ell ith their partners. Ho to arouse their interest in learning English. Ho to make dialogues and at them out. ?.Teahing methods I ill take. 1."Communiative" teahing method. 2. "Task-based" teahing method. Everone knos that the main aims of learning English in middle shool is to ultivate the students' basi abilities of listening, speaking, reading and riting, and their good sense of the English language. ?. Learning methods. Firstl, Look, listen, and sa to gain language petene. Seondl, Teamork, exploration and partiipation to reah the goal. Thirdl, Cultivate skills in listening, speaking, reading and expressing. Fourthl, Students-entered and teaher-guided learning strategies. I'm not a teaher but a guider. I'm read to give them help henever the need and re-orret the mistakes hile talking. ?.Teahing proedure design. Step1. Warm-up. Ask the students some eas questions to hek if the have remembered the ontents the had learned before. For example: What's this Spell it, please. What olor is it Is this our pen Is that our bakpak and so on. Step2. Presentation. 1. Take out a ping-pong ball and ask the students:What's this Wh I take out a ping-pong ball here I think it's the easiest and the most popular in our ountr. 2. Leading in ne ords : here I ill pla some short plas, the are soer game,volleball game, ping-pong petition and an advertisiment, there is a basketball in it. The reason of m design: I think the students an learn the ords easil and diretl in this a. And I also think it an dra the students' attention and arouse their interest in learning English. With the help of the CAI, it an provide a real situation to understand the meaning of the ords, not b presenting the ne ords one b one and telling them the Chinese meaning. So the students an remember the ords quikl and naturall. Ho to help the students remember the ne ord, I think I ill do it like this: When the ord appears under the piture, there ma be some students kno the ord and the ill read it out loudl, this time, ou ma need to orret the pronuniation and teah it, after one or to times, I ill ask the students to spell it b themselves. Wh I must ask them to spell it themselves, I think it an make them have a general impression of the ord. Usuall, hen ou teah them read, most of the students just follo ou, the don't look at the ord at all. Perhaps, ou have taught ten times and the an read it ver ell folloing ou , but after ou teah some more ords and ask them to read it again ,the ma not be able to.
