As we know, Internet has become an important part of our life with the development of the tech knowledge. More and more people use the internet every day. There are a lot of things we couldn’t do without it.
The following aspects could best illustrate the advantages of Internet. To begin with, Internet has made our life more convenient. We can get information much more quickly than ever before. Furthermore, the Internet changes the way people communicate with each other. Email allows us to write to our friends and receive letters from our friends cheaply and instantly. Net surfers in different countries can share interesting knowledge and the latest information, so there is no need to go out sometimes. The Internet plays an important role in mass education. What’s more,
Internet has provided a major opportunity to buy and sell merchandise. Besides, people may get medical help or even vote on Internet. Its advantages seem countless.
However, there is much bad information on the internet. Internet makes people passive by stopping them making their own entertainment. So much so that when there is a breakdown or jam, people may find that World Wide Web turns into World Wide Wait. What is worse, it can be a bad influence on young people. Some children have access to the scenes of violence and sex, and more and more youth are so absorbed in the E-game and chatting that they are waste of the time and energy. Apart from these, it can be affected by viruses and hackers. Computer viruses bring us lots of trouble.
In a word, the Internet has both advantages and disadvantages. But on the whole, it brings people more benefits than harm. So in my opinion, we need to find a good way to use Internet and let it do positive thing for us.
