Handling Ring 旋转环 Handling Ring Spin (Left/Off/Right) * 旋转环旋转(左 /中(关) /右) There will be a 3-position, spring return to center from the left and right, selector switch used to rotate the top drive handling ring. Turning the switch to the left hand position will command the handling ring to spin to the left (CCW). Turning the switch to the right hand position will command the handling ring to spin to the right (CW). A command to spin the handling ring to the left will energize the ‘handling ring spin left’ solenoid valve. If the handling ring is locked, it will stay locked when a spin command is issued. Pulling the button out will cause the handling ring to unlock. The button’s amber light will energize when full lock feedback from the handling ring lock is no longer present. Pushing the button in will cause the handling ring to lock. The button’s amber light will remain energized until full lock feedback is received. When a handling ring lock command is issued, the ‘handling ring lock’ solenoid will energize. In addition, the top drive PLC will automatically issue a one (1) second on-off pulsed command signal for the handling ring to spin left. The handling ring will be jogged to the left until full lock feedback is received or after 8 seconds. After eight seconds, the solenoid will de-energize. 当解锁命令发出的时候,“旋转环解锁”电磁阀将会通电工作,8秒后,电磁阀自动断电。 There will be interlocks in the top drive PLC logic that will prevent the ‘handling ring lock’ and ‘handling ring un-lock’ solenoid valves from being energized at the same time. 顶驱的PLC逻辑系统里同样有联动装置用于防止“旋转环锁定”和“旋转环解锁”同时工作。 A NAMUR, 2-wire, inductive proximity switch will be used to sense when the handling ring is in the locked position. When the proximity switch sees metal the handling ring will be locked and when it does not see metal the handling ring will be unlocked. The switch will be wired back into a discrete input module in the rack of PLC remote I/O onboard the top drive. The configuration of the input module will be such that when the handling ring is locked a ‘0’ will be seen by the PLC control system and when the handling ring is unlocked a ‘1’ will be seen. This will not provide fail-safe protection; therefore, the PLC will also monitor the fail status bit on the respective remote I/O input channel. When the proximity switch signal is healthy, the status bit will be ‘1’, otherwise it will be ‘0’. The interlock will require that full lock feedback from the handling ring lock as well as a healthy status for the lock feedback sensor be present before the grabs will engage. If the handling ring lock button is in the locked position and the grabs are applied, the handling ring will not unlock if the handling ring button is pulled to the unlock position. In addition, the amber light on the handling ring lock button will stay de-energized. If the grabs button is pushed to the off position, the handling ring will then unlock and the handling ring button pilot light will energize. Pulling the grabs button back to the on position will not cause the handling ring to lock. Turning the switch to the left hand ‘Silence’ position will silence the audible alarm during an alarm condition but will allow the respective alarm’s pilot light to remain flashing until the alarm condition is no longer present. In other words, if the alarm condition ceases prior to the audible alarm being silenced, the audible alarm and light will remain energized until the selector switch is turned to the silence position. 警报系统的逻辑性还会在警报状态暂时打开或者关闭的时候使相应的红色警报灯持续闪烁、警报声音持续。换句话说,如果警报状态在声音警报系统被静默之前停止,则声音报警系统和指示灯将会保持激活状态直到选择器开关被置于“静默”位置。 Turning the selector switch to the right hand ‘Test’ position will cause all of the pilot lights on the console as well as the illuminated push/pull buttons to energize, the audible alarm to sound, and the torque meter, torque set meter, and RPM meter to go to 100% indication. This will provide a means of determining if any of the pilot lights, audible alarm, or meters have failed. Allowing the switch to spring return back to center, will place the switch in the off position and allow all of the tested devices to return to their normal operating condition. 选择器开关置于右手的“测试”位置将会使面板上的所有指示灯以及开关按钮的灯亮起,并且警报声音响起,扭矩表,转速表以及扭矩设置表指示到100%。可以依据这些现象判断这些设备是否失效。开关弹回中心位置的时候,开关处于“关”的位置,并且所有的这些测试设备恢复到正常的工作状态。 2. PRINCIPLE of operation and interlocks – Control Cabinet 操作以及联动装置的工作原理-控制箱 Make-Break (Manual/Auto) 暂停(手动/自动) There will be a button on the HMI that will allow the make-break ‘Manual’ or ‘Auto’ modes to be selected. The ‘Auto’ mode will be selected during normal drilling operations and will be the default mode when the top drive PLC powers up as well as the HMI. 在集线器管理接口有一个按钮用于选择暂停模式(手动、自动)的选择,在正常的钻进过程中一般选择“自动”模式,并且当顶驱PLC以及集线器管理接口(HMI)加电时默认的模式也是“自动”模式。 There will be an interlock between the grabs, the drilling mode, and the top drive hand throttle. The interlock will be enabled when the make-brake switch is placed in the auto position. The interlock will prevent the grabs from engaging if the mode selector switch is set to drilling and the hand throttle is not at the zero throttle position or drill stem rotation is sensed. The manual mode will allow the grabs to remain engaged when the mode selector switch is placed in drilling and the hand throttle is not at the zero throttle position. By allowing this condition, the spin-in, makeup, and breakout operations can be manually performed with the mode selector switch set to the drilling position and using the top drive hand throttle and the drilling torque potentiometer. 当暂停开关处于“手动”的状态的时候,互锁就会无效。手动模式将会使背钳系统在模式选择开关处于钻进并且手动节气阀不处于零节气位置的时候持续动作。这样,spin-in, makeup, and breakout 这些操作就可以通过*设置模式选择开关为“钻进”、调节顶驱手动节气阀、钻进扭矩电位计*手动执行。 There will be an interlock between the grabs and the top drive handling ring lock feedback circuit when the make-break auto mode is selected. This interlock will require that full lock feedback from the handling ring lock be received before the grabs will engage. When the make-break manual mode is selected, this interlock will be disabled but another interlock will be enabled that will require that the handling ring lock push/pull button be pushed to the lock position before the grabs will engage. 暂停选择控制开关在“自动”位置的时候背钳系统和顶驱旋转环锁定信息行反馈电路之间也有互锁设计,这个设计将会确认背钳工作之前有来自旋转环锁定系统的完全锁定信息接收到。而当开关在“手动”位置的时候,这个互锁系统就会无效,但是另外一个互锁系统将启动,这个新的互锁会在背钳工作之前确认旋转环锁定控制按钮被按下而处在“锁定”位置。 When the make-break ‘Manual’ mode is selected, an alarm labeled ‘Make-Break Manual Mode Selected’ will be displayed on the HMI. 当暂停控制开关在“手动”位置的时候,在集线器管理接口(HMI)上会显示一个标志有“暂停系统处于手动模式”的警告信息。 CAUTION: Care must be taken to insure that when the make-break selector switch is placed in manual, the grabs are not applied while the drill string is rotating. If the grabs were to be applied while the drill stem was rotating, severe damage would occur to the torque tube and grabs assembly. 警告:当暂停选择开关处于“手动”状态的时候必须小心,在钻柱旋转的时候,背钳系统没有工作。如果在这种状态下背钳系统在工作状态,那么转矩管以及背钳系统将会被严重损坏! Top Drive Run Time Meter 顶驱运行时间指示表 There will be a digital indicator on the top drive HMI that will indicate the amount of time in hours that the top drive has operated. It will register both rotating and stalled time on the top drive. The meter will be enabled when the top drive is on. It will run when the drilling mode is selected, the hand throttle is not at zero and drill stem torque is greater than zero or drill stem speed is greater than zero. It will also run when the breakout, spin and makeup modes are selected and drill stem torque is greater than zero or drill stem speed is greater than zero. 在顶驱的HMI(集线器管理接口)有一个数字指示表,以小时显示顶驱运转总时间,它将会记录顶驱运转时间以及停止转动的时间。这个表会随着顶驱启动而启动,系统处于钻进模式时,并且手动节气阀不在0位,钻杆扭矩大于零或者钻杆转速大于零的时候指示表就会运转。在breakout、spin、makeup模式被选择并且钻杆扭矩大于零或者钻杆转速大于零的时候指示表也会工作。 Top Drive Auxiliaries 顶驱辅助设备 Drill Motor Blower (Hand/Off/Auto) 钻进电机风机(手动/关闭/自动) Each of the two drill motors on the top drive will be cooled with an open loop style cooling system. The 3-pole, motor circuit protector (MCP) and motor starter for each of the cooling system blowers will be located in a MCC inside the top drive VFD house. 顶驱的两个钻进电机有各自的开环冷却系统。每个冷却系统风机都有三极电路保护器(MCP模式控制面板)以及电动机启动器(位于顶驱的VFD内的MCC主控制中心) There will be a 3-position, maintained contact, Hand-Off-Auto (HOA) selector switch on the MCC cubicle door for each blower. Turning the switch to the left hand position will select the hand mode, which will cause the blower to run continuously. When the top drive switch is turned to off, the respective drill motor blowers will continue to run an additional 10 minutes before shutting down if the top drive switch was in the ‘On’ position for more than 5 minutes and the temperature reading on the respective drill motor RTD is greater than 90( C. Otherwise, the respective drill motor blower will power down. 风机处于自动模式的时候,当顶驱面板上的顶驱开关处于“开”的位置(这样会使顶驱系统按次序启动)的时候风机会自动启动。顶驱开关处于“关”的位置,或者处于“开”的位置超过5分钟并且电机的电阻式温度检测器检测到温度高于90( C的时候电机风机将会在关闭之前继续运转10分钟。否则风机会断电。 If the HOA switch is turned to the off position during this cool down period, the blower will turn off and the 10-minute timer will reset. 在这个冷却断电的阶段如果手动切换关闭、自动模式的HOA选择器开关调节到“关”的位置,风机会断电,十分钟计时器会复位。 The motor starter for each blower motor will have a normally open interlock contact that will provide a signal back to the top drive control system signaling when the motor starter has energized and pulled in. It will consist of a single 10 HP motor that will drive both a lube oil pump for the transmission and a hydraulic pump for the on-board hydraulic system. 顶驱附属系统包括一个液压泵站(HPU),它由一个单独的10马力的马达(驱动传动润滑油泵)以及附属液压系统的液压泵组成。 A 3-pole, motor circuit protector (MCP) and motor starter for the HPU motor will be located in a MCC inside the top drive VFD house. Turning the HOA switch to the left hand position will select the hand mode, which will cause the HPU motor to run continuously. The center position will turn the motor off, and the right hand position will place the HPU in auto mode. When the motor starter pulls in to start the HPU motor, the normally open contact will close. 液压泵站电机的电机启动器有一个正常开启互锁触点,当电机启动器拉入工作的时候,它会发出一个信号到顶驱控制系统。当电机启动器拉入启动液压泵站电机的时候,常开触点就会关闭。
