《再要你命 3000助记与精练》使用说明
精练部分的设计初衷是希望给读者背单词提供辅助,而这种辅助首先要贴近
考试的特点,另外也要倾向于英语能力的实际应用,所选取的三种主要题型也有
不同的针对性。
(一)词义连线:
这一部分考察的能力是单词的核心特征,读者并不需要知道中文翻译,而是
需要把握单词英文注释中的关键信息;右侧的英文并不是完整的解释,同时“词
性”的概念也被弱化,因为这些单词通常并不是大多数读者的“输出”词汇,对
于应用的要求并不高。
这一部分的训练,希望读者在背单词的初期力求精确掌握,在完成一个 unit
的记忆之后立刻复习检验,尤其针对那些“不能被简单的翻译成一个中文单词”
的概念,尤其要注意词义的准确。
(二)单词替换:
在教学过程中学生反映的两个问题经常是“这个单词我背会了,为什么在考
试中看到的时候还是不理解呢?”以及“我不知道句子在说什么内容,所以单词
认识也还是理解很模糊!”针对这两个问题,这一部分的例句都是从国外媒体的
新闻报道

中摘取的英文原句进行简单的修改成型,希望读者明确两点:
1. 单词在实际的句子中可能怎么也套不进去你被的那些字眼,而是要灵活
的进行解读;
2. 要培养自己对于生词的容忍度和适应性,习惯在有生词&不熟悉话题的
语言环境中理解句子
这一部分比较原汁原味的句子更侧重于还原单词在实际语境中的出现方式,
希望读者在对 GRE核心词汇有一定掌握之后作为扩展和巩固。
(三)找异义词:
在给出的四个单词中,有三个是同义词,另一个通常是反义词或是完全不相
关的词;针对性不言而喻,主要对于考试中的 6选 2题型进行训练;其中很多单
词并不是 3000主词条的词汇,而是从扩展的同反义词中选取的,所以希望读者
在记忆过【同/近/反】之后,用这一部分作为自我检测和查漏补缺的工具。

在每个 list之后还有两个 crosswords的练习,除了形式上给读者一些变化,
也同时突出一些需要注意拼写的单词;此部分练习结合助记法部分的【小节与复
习】,希望读者可以动手写一写这些单词,把对单词的学习升级到应用的水平。
