This Standard will be issued to all participating contractors for full compliance. Any exceptions shall be referred back to the NCPP Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT) for review and evaluation. Any equipment, therefore, referenced within this standard should meet this requirement and be supported by the manufacturer for this time period notwithstanding misuse, non-maintenance etc. For this purpose any recommendations regarding the type of use of equipment and the choice of materials used should be taken into consideration. Where practical savings may be made, along with ease of use, by using off-the-shelf equipment that may require replacement before this period of time, then this shall be advised and approved by NCPP. Adequate protection shall be provided against mechanical damage and atmospheric corrosion in transit, and for at least six months outdoor storage at jobsite prior to installation.
