龙卷风电影英文介绍 In the September of 1969, when Jo was still a little girl, a terrible tornado attacked the house of her family. The whole family hid in the cellar, a underground room. Jo’s father held the door for the whole family, however, the tornado was so strong that Jo’s father was blown away. This experience made Jo become a scientist studying tornados when she grew up. One day, Jo’s husband Bill came to the workplace of Jo with his girfriend Melissa. He wanted to get back the divorce papers which Jo had signed so that he could get married with Melissa. Bill was a meteorologist who chased the tornados with Jo and her partners, but he is a weatherman now. Jo didn’t want to sign the papers and she told Bill that she built 4 Dorothy successfully which were designed by Bill. It’s an instrument pack for studying tornados. Scientists have studied tornados forever but nobody knows how a tornado works. They have no idea what’s going on inside because nobody can take measurements inside the funnel. They put her up inside a tornado , she opens and releases hundreds of those sensors that measures all parts of the tornado simultaneously. The sensors go up the funnel and transmit back information about the internal stucture, wind velocities and so on. If they know how tornado works they can design a warning system. They can increase warning time to 15 minutes from 3minutes. Give people a chance to get to safty. When Jo heard that first one of the biggest series of storms in 12 years is coming, she rushed to catch it. Bill realized he still didn’t get the divorce papers, so he followed her. Then Bill met Jonas. They all started out in the same lab, then Jonas got himself corporate sponsors. He’s in it for money not science. He’s got a lot of high-tech devices. Jonas stole the design of Bill and built the D.O.T.3. Bill was enraged and he decided to chase the tornados with Jo for the las time. The first tornado they confronted with was just a common one. The level of it was F2 or F3. It’s the Fujita scale. It measures a tormado’s intensity by how much it destroys. Jo and Bill hid under the bridge but the car was taken away and the first Dorothy was destroyed. The second tornados were sisters. There were two and Bill stopped the car between the two tornados, and they stayed safely till the tornado shifted away. And they knew later that in fact there were three not two. After the tornado, they were very excited. The third tornado was much stronger. But this was a jumper. It showed up and then disappeared by turns. And the advance path of it was hard to catch and predict. Another Dorothy was destroyed. At the same time Melissa was fed up with the dangerous lifestyle. She saw Bill was as crazy as Jo. She said: you know when you used to tell me that you chase tornados deed down I always thought it was a metaphor. When she heard that Bill told Jo, “stop living in the past and look at what’s in front you. Me, Jo.” Melissa knew she would lose Bill. During the fourth tornado, Jo’s mother Meg was stuck in her house. Jo and Bill rescued her. At this time Jo hesitated a little, and her mother encouraged her by telling her’ “you have been chasing thetornados since you are a little girl. This is what you ell model in front of should do to save more life.” Jo get inspiration from the windb Meg’s house and they improved the sensors by puting the fan-shaped aluminum sheets. This made the sensors would be sucked by the tornado and fly easily. When the last tornado came, Jo wanted to remind Jonas that their instrument D.O.T.3 was light and they couldn’t succeed. And Bill told him that the tornado would shift the direction and Jonas was in danger. But Jonas was so arrogant and be deaf to all the advice and died last. Bill set the cruise control and the Dorothy was put into the suck zone of the tornado. The lid was sucked away by the tornado and the hundreds of sensors flied into the funnel. They succeeded and got the whole satatistics inside the storm. The the tornado shifted its direction and put Bill and Jo in danger. And Bill and Jo escaped the attack of the last strongest tornado with their wisdom and bravery. Love was again in their hearts.
