TRANDITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE PHILOSOPHY 姓名:戴成慧专业:生物 工程 路基工程安全技术交底工程项目施工成本控制工程量增项单年度零星工程技术标正投影法基本原理 学号:1044418 Abstract: TCM is a valuable traditional Chinese culture, China is one of the scientific form of representation. Correct understanding of Chinese medicine research and development ideas, need to study Chinese medicine as a basis of philosophy. Chinese traditional culture is to produce Chinese medicine philosophy to explore, and then research the scientific Chinese medicine. This report describes the traditional Chinese medicines that are included inphilosophy. With five thousand years of Chinese history, containing the wisdom of ancient Chinese people traditional Chinese medicine is a great treasure of our country. We all have the responsibility to protect it and promote it. Is your body a machine or garden? In Western medicine, according to Push, the body is viewed as a "machine." It has working parts that are replaced as they become worn out or break. One 17th century physician even likened the body to a well-made clock. In the Western world, reality is "matter." It is solid and it can be touched. This view is established early in the training of Western medical health-care professionals and is exemplified in many common mechanistic analogies to human body parts. For example, the heart is described as a pump, the lungs are considered bellows and the nervous system is viewed as an elaborate telephone network. In TCM, by comparison, everything is described in terms of nature. For example, the body is viewed as a garden, and health-care professionals are more closely analogous to gardeners than to craftsmen. As such, gardeners understand that if their garden receives too much water, it becomes soggy and the plants die. Too little water causes plants to wither. Too much shade will stunt growth, etc. In TCM, the health-care professional works as a "gardener" to maintain homeostasis of the garden, and their patients are considered to be an integral part of the Earth. Whatever befalls the Earth befalls us. Yin and yang To understand TCM, it is important to realize that in the body, a constant balancing of yin and yang exists, which must be in harmonious balance for wellness to be present. Yin and yang should not be viewed as dominant and submissive forces. Rather, yang is the active force that moves qi (chi), the energy force, through the body. Yin, by comparison, is similar to blood (although it is much more than that in TCM). Yang is needed to move yin, but if yang is weak, it will lack the energy needed to move yin, which then becomes stagnant and leads to blockage and pain, which can be physical, psychological or a combination of both. Table 1 compares the patterns of yin and yang. It includes corresponding physiological patterns as well as constitutional and diagnostic patterns. Organ systems in TCM It is not possible, if we are limited to a Western perspective, to fully understand organ systems in TCM. For example, blood in TCM differs from our Western perception, in that it goes beyond the functions that we generally attribute to body fluids to include an energetic principle. There are also organs in Chinese medicine that do not have names in Western medicine, such as Triple Burner (the division of the torso into an upper, lower and middle section, each with their corresponding functions: respiration, digestion and elimination). In TCM, body organs have a psychological function as well as a physiological function. For example, a person who is experiencing frustration leading to anger is considered in TCM to have a liver disorder. This is beyond the traditional Western view of the liver functioning to detoxify substances in the body. Diagnosis in TCM Finally, as an introduction to TCM, Push provided an overview of the eight guiding principles in making a diagnosis in TCM (Table 2). The process starts with an assessment of cold and heat (i.e., retarded or accelerated metabolic activity) and continues with an assessment of a state of deficiency or excess (hypofunction or hyperfunction) of an organ or other factors. The process moves on to assess whether the condition is internal (affecting deeper layers of tissues and function) or external (affecting superficial layers). Finally, there is assessment of yin and yang Well,It can be seen that there are great differences between the Western cultural and the tranditional chinese cultural, and their philosophy is very different. Tranditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is based on the observation of nature and natural phenomena. TCM views humans as a microcosm of the universe that surrounds them. Humans, and all life forms, are seen as inseparable from nature. Humans represent the juncture between the Cosmos and Earth, a fusion of cosmic and terrestrial forces. Sustained by the power of earth and transformed by the power of the Cosmos, humanity cannot be separated from Nature—we are nature, manifest as living organisms. 1 As all things are seen as being interconnected, TCM postulates that what is good for nature is good for humanity, what is good for the mind is good for the body, and so on. To harm a part is to harm the whole; what is bad for the heart is bad for the body: nothing exists in isolation. This philosophy also implies that what harms one person damages all people and what injures the earth injures us all. TCM practitioners are practitioners of the "vitalist doctrine", which states that "man assists, but nature heals"; as opposed to the "doctrine of specific cause", which postulates that a single micro-organism could produce specific symptoms in healthy organisms. Chinese medicine for the survival, development direction of the confusion, the problems caused by both the philosophy of Chinese medicine philosophy of Chinese medicine is also based on the ontological commitments made appear. This was reflected in two aspects of a problem, one is Chinese medicine and scientific disciplines have the philosophical basis and we now know and use it freely in its modern scientific and philosophical research generated errors, on the other hand Chinese medicine is required to prove itself, its own scientific and philosophical basis, that is the subject of Chinese medicine to support ontological philosophy that forms the scientific and philosophical way of unity. China, the relationship between philosophy and Chinese medicine, shows that Chinese medicine way of thinking and the basic law of the unity of Chinese philosophy. For Chinese Philosophy ─ ─ explore the real mysteries of Chinese philosophy and Chinese philosophy is different from that of Western philosophy, philosophy of independent form, it should be in the "Book", "moral", "via" and "The Analects of Confucius", etc. Confucianism and Taoism classic research efforts, which is the basic method of study of Chinese philosophy, is to study the basic methods of Chinese medicine philosophy. Western philosophy is the formal standard presumption, and Chinese philosophy is the way of the standard. History of Western Philosophy that, since Aristotle, then, the standard presumption of formal ontology, resulting in Western Philosophy Ontology insurmountable difficulties. While the lack of Chinese philosophy, the main formal standard presumption, as the achievements of Western philosophy, as indicated. However, the development of philosophy has its own laws, when a formal standard of Western philosophy formalized in efforts to continue to the end of the final difficult to "Book" as the representative of the way of Chinese philosophy, contemporary philosophy will inevitably become standard approach of the new direction of development. Western medicine in order to formalize as the main diagnostic techniques and therapeutic techniques to improve the lag of the contradictions of Chinese medicine has attracted the attention of medical expertise. Because the treatment, Western medicine appears as the overall aspects of Chinese medicine treatment is effective. Western medicine in the division and becoming the human body constantly fine, but the function of human existence that the human body is not a machine, not a part of the sum of the whole, therefore, though human in contemporary science and technology can have the help of God into the earth, but the existence of its own nature, but poorly understood. Cartesian dualism in the way of thinking under the influence of Western medicine, the physical organs of human knowledge will not only continue to be split, but was separated and the natural world, the nature of existence has been split by the end of Western medicine continuously exposed model issues and human nature, looting and destruction issues. These problems indicate that the rational Western philosophy brought people place more and more mistakes. Chinese academic circles after the beginning of the century by the Western culture as the culture of China coordinates the "Westernization" type of criticism and of excellent culmination of distortion of traditional Chinese culture after the Chinese traditional culture has caused the loss in the contemporary . Our academics should reflect on the tragedy of Chinese traditional culture and call for the return of the spirit of science. And this is not simply the need for national self-reliance, but also because of the inevitability of human understanding of cultural development. If the way of thinking and forms of knowledge it produces is the philosophy of free uniform, then some form of knowledge itself will be its way of thinking is the result of self-generated. Therefore, subject to the form of Chinese medicine, if it is different from the recognition of the independence of Western medicine in the form, then the philosophy of Chinese medicine itself is in the form of Western philosophy can not compatible. So, with the Western philosophy of Western medicine is generated by the same form of medicine, Chinese medicine is the only product generated by philosophical thinking. The form of medicine from the presumption of its philosophical, philosophy of law found itself than to the contemporary Western philosophy as the main way that presumed the philosophical mode of Chinese medicine and the law is more favorable. Chinese philosophy itself as the commitment and constructive way the discipline of Chinese medicine, and therefore the presumption dialectic of Western philosophy Chinese medicine will be a considerable distortion, resulting not only can not understand Chinese medicine from nature, but also for Chinese medicine research and development to form a considerable obstacle. Therefore, the philosophical root of the problem is the study of contemporary Chinese medicine important task. Can be seen from the above, the formation and development of Chinese medicine has a rich heritage of Chinese culture, Chinese medicine theory and the development ofancient Chinese philosophy of wealth are inextricably linked, from a certain sense, the ancient Chinese philosophy is the ideological form of Chinese medicine theory Basis.
