My favorite restaurant is Cat 44. It is a small restaurant located in No.44, Beiluoguxiang, Dongcheng District, Beijing. Every time I go there,I really enjoy the quiet atmosphere, delicious food and playing with the cute cats.
The Cat 44 is really quiet and cozy. It is a small restaurant in a traditional courtyard, which is located at the end of the street with less visitors. When you open the wooden gate and enter it, you can see a small and clear pond near your foot, and there are colorful koi fish swimming in it. Walking into the room, you will be impressed by the comfortable decoration: the clear French windows, beige walls, wooden tables and chairs , fresh flowers, and big ,soft sofas. What’s more, you will never forget the refreshing scent in the air.
Although the Cat 44 does not have many dishes, the ones it has are yummy. There are beef steak, Italian noodles, baked rice and so on, and I think the baked rice is the best. The heat of it is just right and the rice is sticky. By the way, I really enjoy the freshly ground coffee there. When I taste the coffee, I am at once struck by its concentrated flavor and aromas.
Besides, the most feature of the Cat 44 is there are cats everywhere. Differ from other cats, they are quite close to people. You can hold them in your arms, lightly pat their heads and sometimes they will lick you in return. And if you are eating or reading, they will just lay by your side and accompany with you quietly.
The Cat 44 is good and I have lots of memorable time there. If you are a catlover and you want to eat somewhere, I will definitely recommend it.
