★Step 1 Leading in

Say,Yesterday we have talked about talent shows.Today we'll center on the article about Greenwood Park.Before that,let's first learn a new word“crowded”we will use.(Show the word on the screen or write it on board and explain its meaning and usage.)

★Step 2 Pre-task

Page 31,3a.

1.Look at the box.And think their superlative forms.

2.Fill in the blanks in the article.

3.Check the answers.

4.Practice reading.

★Step 3 While-task

Page 31,3b & 3c.

1.Complete the task in 3b.Write down the answers.

2.Choose one student to say his or her answers.Begin like this:The best middle school in my town is No.1 Middle School.Because it is the most beautiful school in my town.

3.Writing practice.Write about your town and the best places/things there.

4.Choose 2 or 3 students to read their compositions.

5.Correct the mistakes.
