4 词序不同:
在汉语中,汉语时间状语放在前后皆可。
(1)形容词副词作定语。
A research-oriented hospital 以研究为导向的医院。Something important一些重要的事情。
He is a little yellow ragged lame unshaven beggar. 他是一个乞丐,并且个子低,衣服破,腿瘸且满脸胡子的人。
(2) 英汉中主从复合句中的顺序。
A 英语复合句中表示时间的从句可放在主句前面,也可以放在后面。而汉语通常先发生了的事情先说,后发生的事后说(即先发生先到)。
E.g. nothing has happened since we departed.
自从我们分别了,我们什么事都没有了。
B 汉语复合句中的逻辑顺序是先因后果,而英语中比较灵活。
E.g. he has to stay at home yesterday,(because he is ill从句)。

A 引申法:引申常用词的意思(以like为例)。
E.g. he likes singing.
他喜欢唱歌。
He looks like his father.
他看起来很像他父亲
Like knows like.
英雄所见略同。
Like charges repel, unlike charges attract.
同性相斥,异性相吸。
2 (以develop为例)
Develop films 冲洗胶卷。
He developed an interest in literature.
他培养了对艺术的兴趣。
We must develop the revolutionary tradition
我们必须发展革命性的传统。
We decided to develop a chemical plant.
我们决定开办一个化工厂。

他上来的最晚的一个。
2 He is the last man to do it.
他绝不会干这种事情。
3 He is the last person for such the job.
