尼基塔第四集 X: news footage triggered a match in our system. She’s a division agent, listed as “ presumed dead”. Amanda: Kelly, she was tossed in a Turkish prison four years ago. She broke out today. X: the video was taken about an hour after her escape. Amanda: put everyone on this, track her movements, look for people she might contact, places she might to. Anything that could help us find her. And I want to sent a team. X: a retrieval? Amanda: a clean. X: is she a threat? She’s been in prison for years, why would she talk now? Amanda: Kelly wasn’t a threat as long as I knew where she was. Call Alex in. I want her on this too. X: does Alex know Kelly? Amanda: no. but Nikita does. N: look at her. She looks so pale, like a ghost. M: I’d say she looks pretty good for someone who’s supposed to be dead. B: well, I checked the box. There’s nothing on here about Kelly being alive. She’s logged as K-I-A on operation Broken Eagle. N: operation broken eagle? B: yeah, you big Houdini escape moment. N: mcihael , you told me that Kelly died on a mission after that. M: I knew that if I told you , you would feel responsible. And I didn’t see the point. She was dead. Or so I was told. Kelly: I’ve got two border officer ahead. N: they’re not supposed to be there. Kelly: I guess something changed since your last scouting trip. N: I think I found a shortcut. So I am responsible. I got out on operation broken eagle and Kelly gets captured. That’s not a coincidence. M: no, you don’t know that . N: what do you know? M: percy said Kelly reported your death and tried to complete the mission without you. She was shot crossing the border into Turkey. Kelly: wait, that’s your shortcut? There’s no cover on that bridge. N: we leapfrog--- I go first, you cover me. Once I’m across the bridge, you can come. Kelly: this is why no one wants to be partnered with you on missions. You take crazy risks. N: telling Percy that we failed is an even bigger risk, all right? We’re already behind schedule, and he’s waiting for this. Kelly: if someone’s watching. N: if anything happens you turn around and run like hell. Call division. They’ll send help. X: tac one . Nikita is taking fire. Abort mission. Pull back to waypoint three. N: you’re right. Kelly’ll head for the border. We need to help her. M: the woman in that video didn’t look like she needed anyone’s help. N: when I escaped, Michael, I believed that she would make it out, and I was wrong. M: she won’t be happy to see you. N: she’s been in prison for four years because I left her behind. Who’d be happy about that? Alex: it’s very busy out there. Getting ready to overthrow some poor, unsuspecting government? Amanda: we’ll get to that. First, I’d like to discuss what happened with the Kochenko assassination. Alex: not much to discuss. You asked me to kill him, and I did. Amanda: I ordered you to abort the mission, and you disobeyed that order. Alex: Sergei Semak stole everything that mattered to me, and Kochenko helped him do it. If don’t want me to take the hit, you shouldn’t have put the gun in my head. Amanda: I understand why you disobeyed me. Because of that, I’m giving you a second chance an opportunity to redeem yourself. Alex: I didn’t know I needed to be redeemed. Amanda: I want you to go to Turkey and track this woman. Alex: who is she? Amanda: former associate of Nikita’s. someone she become rather close to during her time at division. I believe Nikita may try to help her. Alex: and you expect me to drop everything to go after them. What do I get in return? Amanda: Sergei Semak is not a fan of Russian winters. Every year, he picks a sunny spot to spend a month or two. His location is a closely guarded secret. We have eyes and ears inside his broker’s office. You would have all the intel you need to plan a hit. Sergei: I want a progress report on Kochenko’s shooting. Don’t disappoint me and tell me that there is no progress. X: we don’t know how that shooter got past security. A lone wolf terrorist is the most difficult to stop or catch. Sergei: you agree? Ali: I believe a great deal of effort went into crafting the illusion that this was the work of one man. X: perhaps our chief of intelligence has been living with the spies too long. He sees plots and conspiracies around every corner. Sergei: that is why Ari will take over the investigation. Ari: sir, I’m in the middle of an operation. I have agents. Sergei: you agents work for me. Gogol was created to protect Zetrov and its interests. And you failed to protect Kochenko. Now, finding out who shot him and why is your priority. X: my men are more than capable of handling the investigation. I don’t need the help of your shadow to tell me how to do my job Sergei: ari, you’ve been promoted. Ari: this is--- quite unexpected. Thank you , sir. Sergei: now tell me your theory on Kochenko. Ari: I’ve heard the Americans are unhappy that Zetrov is expanding onto their continent. Sergei: no, this is personal. Percy and his bosses feel that they are owned a piece of Zetrov because I used a division strike team. Ari: to take out Nikolai Udinov. If the truth got out that you, instigated his demise . Sergei: Percy holds that secret on his little black boxes. If he reveals it , he exposes the American government involvement as well. Why challenge the stalemate? Ari: and why now? Sergei: that is for you to find out. I’m late. Clean this up. Ari: first task of my new job? Sergei: sometimes a man in my position needs to delegate. X: we’ve been tracking Kelly’s movements. There’s the jailbreak and the incident with the guards. This is where she abandoned their vehicle. Alex: she’s going west. X: if her goal was to get out of the country, she was closer to the eastern borders. Alex: I’ve never been to Turkey. But I’m pretty sure border patrol would notice a woman in a prison uniform trying to cross the border without a passport. X: how would someone with no money or contacts get new documents? Alex: she doesn’t need new documents. Nor if she already had a backup. Where was she staying on that last mission? X: a sage house in Ankara. We abandoned the property after that mission four years ago. Alex: if she had a safety net, it’s stashed there. She has to go back to get it. Nan: do we have b location? Alex: we? Nan: it’s your job to track Nikita. My job starts when you find her. Amanda: don’t start. Alex is in Turkey. That’s why I’m here instead. Percy: you’re right. Kelly. Yeah, I caught her on the news. It’s amazing how division keeps becoming more visible. Amanda: tell me what you know. I need this operation to go smoothly. Percy: I know. Bit rocky lately. But oversight’s been breathing down your neck. Amanda: I can handle oversight. Percy: the way you handled Kochenko? Wait a minute, that’s why you’re here, isn’t it? Kochenko’s death created a situation, didn’t it? And now you don’t know who to go to. You’re all alone. Amanda: I’m doing fine. Percy: come on. Talk to me. Amanda: alex is becoming impatient. Percy: she wants to go after Semak sooner than you planned. Go ahead, take it. But , uh, do come back later. So we can discuss the Semak matter over tea like civilized people. N: Kelly? It’s me. It’s Nikita. I’m here to help. Division should be on their way. You need to get out of there. Do you remember that park near the Parliament Building? Meet me there in three hours. I can get you out of the country. And I can explain everything. M: how can you be sure she’ll show? N: if it were me, I’d want that explanation. M: I think I see her. Behind the hedges across the path. N: Kelly. Kelly: hey, partner. Cleared out the safe house. I want my stuff back. N: you don’t have to do this. Kelly: I want to do this. Take off the bag and hand it over. N: right. slowly. Michael. M: I’m not division. N: I told you I’m here to help. Kelly: yeah, and last time I followed you acorss the border, I ended up in prison. What’s your plan this time? To get me killed. B: somebody must have made a phone call. You’ve got half a dozen local police headed your way in a hurry. N: we have to get you out of here. We need to split up. M: that’s not a good idea. We talked about this. N: we didn’t expect a police chase either. We need a distraction. You’re coming with me. We can finish this fight after we escape. Excuse me. Alex: a silver sports car? Was it stolen? X: no report’s been filed yet. Alex: then how are they sure that it’s Kelly? X: she fired at them before fleeing. Alex: none of that sounds right. Y- you pick a fancy car because who would suspect a fugitive in that. And then you shoot at the police, to what? Make sure that they follow you? Do the police cars have GPS tracking? X: I’m already in the system. The police just left the park. Do you want me to monitor their route? Alex: no listen. The police are chasing a decoy. Nikita and Michael already have Kelly. They’re leading the police away. One of those cars should be heading off course. X: I’ve got one headed north. Alex: ok, that’s Nikita. Watch that car, and tell me where it stops. N: there should be fewer police here than at the Ankara station. We’ll be safe here until we—have to board the train. Kelly: good. I saw you die. N: I needed you to . division had to believe I was dead. Kelly: you should have warned me. N: you would have reported me to division. It’s protocol, Nikita. You were always like that. Kelly: yeah, well, I wasn’t as special as you . I couldn’t bat my eyelashes at Michael and get out of trouble. Speaking of Michael. Who’d you have to screw over to get him out? N: I didn’t screw you over. Not on purpose. Division did. You were captured, division washed their hands of you. I found out you’re alive, I dropped everything to come here. Four years in prison, they did nothing. I hid this here. You’ll need a disguise to get past the police. Kelly: I’m out of options. So I’ll go along with your plan. But don’t expect a thank-you. N: I’m not here for your thanks. You deserve a second chance. I want to give it to you. If you’ll let me. M: Nikita said Kelly agreed to the plan. But I don’t trust her. B: Why does she? You know, I never understood that relationship. It’s like oil and a martian. M: when Kelly arrived at division. She was very quiet. Stuck to herself. Nikita hadn’t had an easy transition either. So they sort of gravitated towards each other. B: remember Kelly as pretty intense. Not the kind of person you want to cross. M: that’s my worry. Nikita’s alone with Kelly. And I can’t protect her. Keep an eye on’em, huh? B: I’ve got nine on them right now. X: I don’t speak French. But do you ladies speak English? N: see, we were not, uh, sure what the officer was asking. X: he would like to see your identification, and he would like to know the purpose of your visit. Kelly: we’re on holiday and next is Istanbul, and then , unfortunately, back home. N: went so fast, no? Kelly: so fast. X: may i? N: we have a few hours. If you want to get some rest, Kelly: I don’t think I can . what happens when we get to Istanbul? N: well, we meet up with Michael, get you across the border. Then you’re free. You can go wherever you want. Kelly: I don’t know where to go . I hadn’t thought that far ahead. N: how’d you find a way out? Kelly: they were taking me back to the cell when a guard got hurt. The others left me to go help him. They forgot they hadn’t locked my door yet. So I ran. N: you won’t have to run much longer. Kelly: what about you? Why aren’t you hiding out somewhere on a beach with Michael? N: I do want that. Except the hiding part, of course. Kelly, when we make it to that beach, I want to be free to division and everything we’ve done. That’s what we’re working on. Trying to make things right. Kelly: what we’ve done, Nikita? That’s not something you can fix. Alex: Nikita has to be here. The police car she stole is parked out front. Nan: once the train’s moving, there’ll be no means of escape. Ari: is there anything else you remember about that day? Maybe, maybe something you forgot in all the chaos? x: I don’t know. Kochenko was on stage. Ari: something before the shooting. Something that would have seemed unimportant at the time. X: there was a girl. A photographer. She wanted a better view than the press area provided. Ari: and she was a pretty girl, I’d guess. It’s probably why you let her go. Oh, no. no press passes were issued to any female photographers. That’s all right. Maybe you can work with a sketch artist. Tell me. What do you remember about her? X: sh-she was a young Russian woman. Maybe 20. About 5’6’’, blue eyes, long, brown hair. Alex: uh, excuse me. English? X: yes. Alex: um, I’m looking for my friends, but I can’t find them. You know, we were going to meet in Istanbul tonight. But I got on the earlier train. So anyway, have you seen them? X: I’m sorry, I don’t recognize them. Alex: you know---you know, these are old pictures. Look again. They might look a little different now. X: there were two women. They’re up ahead. Fourth car, I believe. Alex: thank you so much. B: you have to get off the train now. N: kind of hard, Birkhoff. It’s moving. B: I’ve got Roan and alex entering the train station just before you pulled out, and I think they’re onboard. N: no! it’s locked. We have to stop this train. Kelly: or we fight. I think we can pick off the girl pretty easy. N: we can’t kill her. Kelly: why not? She’s a division agent. N: you don’t know her, Kelly. I do. Kelly: okay. Fine, fine. Maybe we can disable her. We have tactical advantage back there. There’s only one way in. N: there’s only one way out. These people would be defenseless. Kelly: unless we get them out of here before the fighting starts. Alex: found them. Kelly: you can’t be serious. Alex: when can we get off this thing? Amanda: sonya, can you stop the train? X: I tripped a switch about 15 minutes ahead. They’ll have to stop to manually reset it. Alex: while we’re stuck here, check the area for gas stations, restaurants, anything Nikita’s going to need new wheels. N: hey, we’re off the train. Don’t ask. We need a new plan. M: uh, can you make it to the docks in Istanbul? Birkhoff will find us a freighter or something. N: let me see what I can do . I’ll call you when I’m on my way. Kelly: I’m gonna use the ladies’room while you car-shop. Maybe I can fix this poor thing. Kelly: hey, it’s Kelly. Can you trace us? Ari: I didn’t expect to hear from you so soon. Something wrong? Kelly: division just showed up. Ari: does Nikita have the black box? Kelly: not on her. And she hasn’t said anything about it. Are you sure she has it? Ari: one of our associates swore that she didn’t, and then he threatened to kill me. He was a terrible liar. She has it. Somewhere. Kelly: they seem to have a home base. Maybe the black box is there. When I find it. Ari: deliver the box, you’ll get everything we agreed upon. These division agents—do I need to send someone to clean that up? Kelly: no. they’re alive. Nikita refused to kill one of them. Some girl. Ari: Nikita protecting a division agent? How unlike her. Who was the lucky lady? Kelly: her name’s Alex. She must be new. Ari: describe her to me. Kelly: early 20s, white, maybe 5’6’’, brown hair, blue eyes. Ari: I’ve sent you an image. Is that her? Kelly: yeah. Who is she? Ari: she’s an assassin, who I would very much like to speak with. Forget the black box. Find the girl, bring her to me. Kelly: forget the box? Ari: don’t worry. Our deal stays the same. In fact, I think your job just got a lot easier. Your new target is already chasing you. Kelly: what? No luck with the wig? Uh, it was kinder to put it out of its misery. This it? N: we’ll be in Istanbul before he even knows it’s gone. Roan: so where do we start? Alex: there’s a restaurant right up ahead. It’s the closest spot from where they jumped. Kelly: I keep wondering why you wanted to protect that division agent. N: Alex isn’t like us. The way she got into division. It’s different, it’s—it’s complicated. Kelly: then explain it. N: we were partners. Before Michael and Birkhoff, it was Alex and I against division. Kelly: that’s how you took down Percy. You had a man inside. What happened? N: I was trying to protect her. There were things that I didn’t think she could handle. So I kept them from her. When she found out, she realized she couldn’t trust me. Kelly: guess no one warned Alex about Saint Nikita. N: what’s that supposed to mean? Kelly: it’s how you operate. You’re the only one who can handle the truth. You’re the only one who knows the right thing to do. You know, Amanda had a theory about that. N: I don’t care. Kelly: liar. She said you need people, but you don’t trust them. You withhold information to keep them dependent on you. But make their choices for them so they can’t disappoint you. So I get why Alex doesn’t trust you. But why stay at the place she tried to destroy? N: she know Amanda. She’s got her confused. She’s made her believe that she needs division. I should’ve never let that place get its hooks into her. Percy: alex defied you. She killed Kochenko. She wants to go after Semak now. Amanda: I think she’s finally coming into her own. Percy: the baby bird prepares to leave the nest. Will you be willing to let this one fly away? Or are you gonna make her chew her own foot off. Like Nikita did, in order to escape you? Or is that a coyote metaphor? Amanda: Alex doesn’t have to escape me. I only want what’s best for her. Percy: I made the mistake of underestimating your ambition once. I won’t do it again. You wanna replace Semak with your own little puppet. I know. Amanda: I’m helping Alex regain what’s rightfully hers. Though I believe that when she’s back at Zetrov, she’ll remember who her real friends are. Percy: for what it’s worth. When Nikolai died, several members of his inner circle vanished. If you were to be able to find them, perhaps they could help you. Reestablish Alex’s rightful place on the throne. So to speak. Amanda: I appreciate the information. But I have to ask, why are you willing to help? What do you want? Percy: you know what I want. Actually, I wouldn’t mind having my clothes back. Not into the onesie. Alex: found this in the ladies’ room. It’s not like Nikita to be this sloppy. Roan: they must’ve found a car. Although no one here has reported one stolen. X: I’m looking for my phone. This is the last place I used it, but it’s not in my purse. Alex: maybe we have another way to track them. N: we’ll pull in here and meet Michael on the other side of the road. It’s the tire. Let me see if there’s a spare. Kelly: I’m never getting out of this country. N: Michael will come get us. Kelly: we’re gonna need to take cover before he gets here. I’m gonna take a look. N: find a spot with a view of the road. We don’t need any more surprises. M: are you at the docks? N: no, I’m on the side of the road with a flat and no spare. M: I knew we shouldn’t have split up. Do you know of a safe place where you can wait for me? N: Kelly’s out looking, but there’s nowhere to hide the car. I’m gonna have to call you back. M: wait , Nikita. Ari: Kelly, we have your location. I’ve sent a team to capture the girl. Kelly: so I found a spot. It’s not too far uphill. I think
