I’m glad to share my point here. My topic today is graduates should enjoy free education. Here sit all graduates. Everyone knows about the situation we graduates are in. Each year graduate schools of different universities are allocated a sum of money by the government, offering graduates scholarship that’s equivalent to their tutor fees. However, not every
graduate can get scholarship. Some of them have to pay for their graduate education because of their low scores in the entrance exam, or, for some reasons, some have to give up the university they have chosen first, and apply to another one. They usually have to pay for their education. The present situation is some enjoy full free education, while some have to pay. Here I appeal, every graduate should enjoy free education.
The tutor fee is a large amount of money. It adds up to more than 30 thousand Yuan during the study, exclusive of living costs. The expenses are growing higher these years. By convention, few graduates take out loans, so the money has to be paid by their parents. It may be astonished this happens in china, adult graduates still ask for money from their parents. If you are luckily born in a wealthy family, it’s ok. But how about people in poor conditions? In
fact, there are still many poverty-stricken areas in china, where a number of school aged boys and girls have to drop out of school. People from these places usually have few things to do when confronting such paying.
To promise the academic talented can get the graduate education they want, government have the responsibility to offer them help. Completely free education for graduates would be the best strategy. Some people may be worried about the load that cause to the national economy, while I am quite optimistic. No more than 3 million graduates are studying in university each year. Government need to invest less than 10 billion Yuan to ensure every graduate enjoys free education. The amount of money will be trifling to GDP. Free education for graduates can’t influence the economic development of our country.
On the contrary, government will benefit from the policy. Graduates can pay more attention on their study and reach essentials. They will make more contributions to the country. They are a fortune to the country. With the development of technology, national economy will get long-term power. Knowledge is power. I am sure everyone would take this point.
In a word, free graduate education will benefit all parts.
