概要IP用到的Abstract功能Abstract启动方式介绍数据准备参数设置数据验证第1页/共59页IP用到的Abstract功能生成LEF文件提取Antenna信息第2页/共59页Abstract启动方式独立运行：Abstract&嵌入Virtuoso启动第3页/共59页Abstract主界面第4页/共59页嵌入Virtuoso启动第5页/共59页第6页/共59页第7页/共59页Abstract界面第8页/共59页菜单说明VerifystepAbstractstepExtractstepPinsstepLogialimportLayoutimportOpenlibrary第9页/共59页菜单说明第10页/共59页数据准备及建库流程Tech.lefGDSSchematicLibraryPDKlibrary第11页/共59页1、新建libraryAbstract&（启动）与Virtuoso在相同目录启动。以便共用cds.lib文件。建库新建一个Library，以避免抽取过程对Layout的影响。第12页/共59页该文件包含了Antenna提取需要的各种信息。2、ImportTech.LEF第13页/共59页2、ImportTech.LEFTech.lef是在提取antenna时才需要的。如果只提取Pin坐标,则不需要它。使用前注意核对layername与virtuoso的tf中是否一致。该文件必须在gds之前导入。否则可能会导致LEF中Pin的坐标（X，Y）值与Layout不一致。因为tech.lef中定义的版图的UU/DBU属性可能与streamin中定义的不一致。第14页/共59页3、导入GDS此时，可以先关闭Abstract，用Virtuoso完成接下来的操作。将gds导入新库，并添加tf文件。在这里要注意，gds必须是DRC、LVS等检查都已通过的最终版本。第15页/共59页4、添加SchematicView将Schematic.view拷贝到新的Library。以便提取过程中读取Net信息。第16页/共59页第17页/共59页第18页/共59页5、给Layout增加prBoundary这一层用于规划IP的大小，属于标识层。今后可以在Layout设计时就加入这层。需要注意StreamoutGDS文件时要在map文件中添加对这层的说明，否则会丢失。第19页/共59页边缘黄色线条就是prBoundary这层使用时需要到LSW的Edit中开启这一层的显示。第20页/共59页VirtuosoPreview这步会检查有没有prBoundary。AbstractEditor这步会添加Abstract按钮到工具栏。CreateAbstract这步会弹出设置窗口，然后启动Abstract。6、从Virtuoso启动Abstract第21页/共59页第22页/共59页第23页/共59页第24页/共59页第25页/共59页Abstract启动，并且读入Layout和Schematic信息。至此准备完毕。第26页/共59页参数设置PinsStepExtractStepAbstractStepVerifyStep第27页/共59页PinsStepMapTextBoundaryBlocks第28页/共59页（labellayer）//（（layerlabel）（layerdrawing））通配符方式的Power和Ground定义模拟单元Pin都在这定义第29页/共59页第30页/共59页TheoptionsintheBoundarytabcontrolthecalculationoftheplace-and-route(PR)boundary,whichdefinesthesizeofasinglecellorblock.这里可以只有金属和孔，也可以填写所有层。第31页/共59页ControlshowtheabstractgeneratorprocesseslocalblockagesdefinedintheBLOCKAGEsectioninDEF5.4.Localblockagesdonothavethe+PUSHDOWN,+FILL,or+SLOTmodifiers.ControlswhetherpinsarecreatedfromtheroutingdefinedintheSPECIALNETSsectionoftheDEFfile.这两项可以都关掉。第32页/共59页第33页/共59页ExtractStepSignalPowerAntennaGeneral第34页/共59页这里通常只填Pin所包括的层，但是在提取Antenna时，这里必须包括Poly和Contact。HHNEC013工艺还要加入Li1。目的就是得到从Pin到Gate的整条Net。这里只需打开在Pin上需要用的层即可。在提取Antenna时，这个开关要打开第35页/共59页这里包含电源、地所用到的层即可，然后在需要出Pin的层选择CreatePins即可。第36页/共59页这里要改成：GPandAAAAandnotGP这里定义MOS的Gate和Drain，需要注意，必须先定义Gate，再定义Drain。默认根据Tech.lef和Techfile得到一组设置，我们得根据实际需要来修改。这些选项可以全部打开。第37页/共59页定义层与层的连接（下层上层孔）第38页/共59页第39页/共59页AbstractStepAdjustBlockageFractureSiteOverlapGrids第40页/共59页第41页/共59页AdjustStepCreateBoundaryPinsAB当开关关闭时，整条Net都定义为Pin，并且每一次改变走向都增加编号。例如：en1、en2等当开关打开，在boundary的边缘位置创建Pin，默认情况以label所在层的最窄宽度为边长的正方形。第42页/共59页AdjustStepBoundarypinmaxdistancetoboundaryOntheAdjusttaballowsyoutospecifythedistance(inmicrons)ofthesignalnetorpowernetgeometriesfromtheboundarysothattheycanbeconsideredasboundarypins.注意：在提取Antenna时，不能创建BoundaryPin。第43页/共59页这里设置阻塞层信息。首先定义层，之后设置阻塞方式。这里有三个选项：Cover、Detailed、Shrink第44页/共59页在选择了CreateBoundaryPin后，提取的Pin与Net是断开的，这个选项应该能够控制，但是实际操作中无效。Theseoptionsletyoucontrolwhetherornotpinsandblockagesarefractureddependingontheplaceandroutesystemyouareusing.Youcanalsocontrolhow45-degreegeometryismodeled.第45页/共59页Sitestelltheplacerwhereitcanplacecells.Allcellsthatarelocatedinaparticularbinshareacommonsetofproperties:symmetry,class(forexample,padorcore),width,andheight.Thesepropertiesareusedbytheplacertoassistintheplacementprocess.Thesecellpropertiesaredefinedinasiteobject,andallcellswithinthesamebinareassociatedwiththesamesite.Thesiteitselfhasaname,andthecellsintheLEFfilecontainasitenamefieldthatholdsthenameoftheassociatedsite.给Cell定义site名，并写入technologyfile，Verify中有这么一项检查。第46页/共59页TheseoptionscontrolwhetherornottheabstractGeneratorupdatesoverlapboundarygeometry.always,meansthattheabstractgeneratoralwayscreatesanoverlapboundary.Anyexistingoverlaplayergeometryisoverwritten.asNeeded,meansthattheabstractgeneratorcreatesanoverlapboundaryifitisnotalreadypresentorifitispresentandwaspreviouslycalculatedbytheabstractgenerator.off,meansthattheabstractgeneratornevercreatesanoverlapboundary.默认Off。第47页/共59页Theseoptionscontrolthegridanalysisfunctionthatcalculatesthebestmetal1andmetal2routinggridpitchesandoffsetsforyourstandardcells.默认关闭该功能。第48页/共59页第49页/共59页VerifyStepCheckTarget这一项，在模拟IP提取时，可以不做。Verify通不过，对LEF提取没影响。第50页/共59页TerminalsComparestheterminalsinthelogicalandabstractviewsofeachcellandreportsanydifferences.ManufacturinggridIdentifiespinsandgeometriesthatarelocatedbothonandoffthemanufacturinggridforeachcell.Theseoptionsareonbydefault.第51页/共59页第52页/共59页数据导出&验证第53页/共59页数据导出&验证第54页/共59页数据导出&验证第55页/共59页Astro验证LEF第56页/共59页注意事项设计时加入prBoundaryPin要画成正方形边缘金属间距（可以设置扩大Boundary的size，但是使用中仍需注意。）第57页/共59页ENDThankyou！第58页/共59页谢谢大家观赏！第59页/共59页
