On the contrary, in1995, there was only little fish with lots of fishing boats crowding in the sea. Simple as the picture is, the meaning behind it is as deep as the ocean.In no country other than China, it has been said, is the problem of commercial over-fishing more serious. The past decade has witnessed a huge development in economy owing to the reform and opening-up policy being carried out, meanwhile many issues appeared , with this following one being the foremost. What’s more, the public fails to attach due attention to this problem.We would pay a high price if the situation were to continue. Not only will sea creatures become extinct, but we also will face the resources being exhausted, and such problems as disruption of ecological balance.With the situation being so serious, it is high time that we took effective measures to tackle this problem. It is imperative that laws and regulations be introduced and enforced to curb and harness this urgent. Only in this way can we achieve the sustainable development of our economy.
