Chapter 3 A dangerous servant 一、章节分析(Section Analysis) (一) 综述 本单元是一篇家庭肥皂剧似的课文，通过Benny 一家的谈话，学生可以在一个轻松的故事情节中学习：What’s electricity？ What does electricity look like？ How does it come into our flats？等与电相关的知识。在引导学生对文章进行整体理解的同时，让学生知道，Electricity is a good servant, but a dangerous one, We must always be careful with it. 学习一些核心词汇和词组如：although, invisible, produce, be careful with, be connected to, change into等。 本设计结合课文特点，对教材内容进行了重组，将课文21个小节分成4大块，并把第一块和最后一块先教学，让学生对故事情节有个比较完整的了解，然后对难点板块作重点的分析和解读，同时通过创设问 题 快递公司问题件快递公司问题件货款处理关于圆的周长面积重点题型关于解方程组的题及答案关于南海问题 情境，引导学生带着问题去阅读，以培养学生边阅读边思考的好习惯。 本部分的教学任务有两个： 1、对课文进行整体阅读。运用不同的教学方法和手段，帮助学生逐块分析、理解，以此丰富教法和学法，提高学生的阅读兴趣。 2、渗透生命教育的理念，帮助学生了解电的相关知识，并在日常生活中节约用电，安全用电。 (二) 阅读目标 1、知识目标： 学习课文中重点单词、词组、句型和语法 2、能力目标： 通过创设问题情境，引导学生带着问题去阅读，培养学生良好的阅读习惯，同时教会他们沉浸文本，享受阅读的乐趣，以提高学生的阅读理解能力。 3、情感目标： 帮助学生对电的相关知识有一个较好的了解，并在日常生活中树立节约用电，安全用电的意识。 (三) 教学方法 利用任务型教学法组织教学。通过重组教材内容，对各段落各板块作不同的处理和设计，减少学生理解的困难，帮助学生理解全文，达到教学目标。 (四) 重点和难点 1、词汇学习 (1) 核心词汇 danger /dangerous servant trick electricity foolish flow amount bill monthly explanation / explain form energy invisible / visible connect cable polite / politely contain story movement clear carry around produce (2) 拓展词汇 measure bury scratch bulb grin battery chemical (3) 词组和短语 ·a packet of sweets in packets at last flow through ·in a way get a bill for be careful with ·change … into forms of energy think of ·make electricity produce electricity be connected to 2、句型学习： ·although 引导的让步状语从句 被动语态句式(be connected … / be buried ….) 二、教学设计 (Teaching Designs) 教学内容 教学实施建议 教学资源参考 Pre-reading 为了激活学生已有的背景知识，激发学生学习的兴趣，扩大学生的知识面，为接下来的阅读作一些铺垫，建议老师用一个课时完成以下任务： ·复习学生已知的家用电器的英文表达。 ·介绍与电相关的一些词汇。 ·利用课本提供的练习A：“What do you know about ….” ·利用图片或情景介绍课文中的部分新词汇：如meter, measure, bulb, cable, wire, scratch, connect, grin, battery等，为学生整体阅读课文扫清障碍。 《牛津英语教学参考》 While-reading 这是本课的主体部分，也是老师处理的重点，既要引导学生学习重点词汇和句型，又要培养学生的阅读兴趣，训练学生的阅读技巧，提高学生的阅读理解能力。建议老师对教材内容进行重组，并分块进行教学，以突出重点，分解难点，帮助学生更好地理解课文。 ·要求学生快速略读，获得课文的大概轮廓，能在有限的时间内运用skimming技巧，找到最基本的信息。 ·把文章21节分四块，引导学生分块进行阅读。教学时将第一块和最后一块先教，让学生对故事情节有个比较完整的了解，然后对中间两块作重点的分析和解读。 [具体处理这部分内容的建议见(键接1)对教材内容的处理] ·利用课本P47练习E“Read and think”中的diagram，让学生说说电是如何进入每一个家庭的，以巩固刚学过的内容，为Post-reading的讨论作好铺垫。 [链接2 课件 超市陈列培训课件免费下载搭石ppt课件免费下载公安保密教育课件下载病媒生物防治课件 可下载高中数学必修四课件打包下载 ] Post-reading 这部分是课文的拓展部分，也是进行情感教育的部分，结合课文内容让学生讨论电对我们现代生活的重要性，我们应该节约用电，更要注意安全用电。 [链接1] 说明： 对教材内容的处理 While-reading procedure: I. Skim the whole text and then answer the questions. 1. What were the family talking about？ 2. What did Benny want to buy？ 3. Could Daisy buy electricity when she returned？ 4. Let the students listen to paragraph 1.2.3 carefully, and imitate the pronunciation and the intonation 2. Let the students practise reading out what Benny said 3. Invite some of the students to read out to see who reads best. III. Who looked foolish at last?
