APQP(全英文版)AdvancedProductQualityPlanning1PurposeInordertodevelopandproduceanewproductthatmeetsthecustomer’squalityrequirements,systematicadvancedqualityplanningisrequired.TheAdvancedProductQualityPlanningprocedure(APQP)accompaniesthedevelopmentofaproductandisintendedtoensurethatthesuppliermeetsallofthecustomer'srequirementsontime.2ResponsibilityThesupplierisfullyresponsibleforthetimelyplanning,executionanddocumentationofallactivitiescarriedoutwithintheframeworkofAdvancedProductQualityPlanning(APQP).Hespecifiespersonsinhisorganizationwhoareresponsiblefortheindividualactivitiesandstipulatesthecorrespondingdeadlines.Onthecustomer’sside,thetechnicaldepartments(dependingontheirareaofresponsibility)ordesignatedprojectsupervisorsareresponsibleforcooperationwiththesupplier.Inorderthatdevelopmentactivitiescanbecarriedout,itisnecessarytodefinethetargetsfortheprojectandthecommunicationchannelsbetweenthepartiesinvolved(customer,supplierandsubcontractors).Toensurecontinuousmonitoringoftheprojectandadherencetothedeadlinesspecifiedbythecustomer,thesuppliermustsetmilestonesatwhichthedefinedactivitiesmustbecompleted. 3ProjectclassificationandrequirementsThedemandsonAdvancedProductQualityPlanningaredividedupintothreedifferentprojectclassifications(PE)bythecustomer,basedontheriskinvolved:Standardrequirement▪Simplifiedprojectwork (e.g.timescheduling)▪Projectdiscussion(s)whererequired▪Sampling▪Processreview/processauditonsite,whererequiredMediumrequirement▪Projectworkinacc.withAPQPmethod▪APQPStatusReports▪Projectdiscussion(s),whererequired▪Sampling▪Processreview/processauditonsite,whererequiredMaximumrequirement▪Projectworkinacc.withAPQPmethod▪APQPStatusReports(increasednumber)▪ProjectReview(s)▪Sampling▪Processreview/processauditon-sitePE3StandardproductPE2MediumriskPE1IncreasedriskThesupplierisinformedoftheprojectclassificationwhentheorderisissued,atthelatest.Thecustomermaychangetheprojectclassificationduringthecourseoftheprojectasaresultofunforeseencircumstances.Shouldanyrequirementschangeduringthecourseoftheproject,allaffecteddocuments,e.g.ControlPlan,FMEA,processflowdiagrametc.,mustbechangedaccordingly.3.1ProjectclassificationPE1–IncreasedriskThesupplierreportstothedesignatedcustomercontactonhisownresponsibilityusingtheAPQPStatusReport(seeQAAPart1,Appendix3):▪Nolaterthanfourweeksafterorderconfirmation▪Atinitialmassproductionsampling▪Ingoodtimeintheeventofproblems(APQPstatusofanelementis"yellow“or"red“)▪Onadditionaldateswhichhavebeenagreedbetweencustomerandsupplieronanindividualbasiswithintheframeworkoftheprojectwork.Thecustomercheckstheprogressoftheprojectduringprojectreviewsheldateitherthesupplier’spremisesorthecustomer’spremises.DocumentssuchastheControlPlan,FMEA,processflowchartetc.mustbesubmittedasevidence.Thecustomerreleasesthemassproductionprocessaftercarryingoutaprocessreview/auditatthesupplier’spremisesand,wherenecessary,atthesubcontractor'spremises.Thedateandscopeoftheon-siteinspectionareagreedbetweensupplierandcustomerwithintheframeworkoftheAPQP.3.2ProjectclassificationPE2–MediumriskThesupplierreportstothedesignatedcustomercontactonhisownresponsibilityusingtheAPQPStatusReport(seeQAAPart1,Appendix3):▪Nolaterthanfourweeksafterorderconfirmation▪Atinitialmassproductionsampling▪Ingoodtimeintheeventofproblems(APQPstatusofanelementis"yellow“or"red“)Thecustomercanchecktheprogressoftheprojectduringprojectreviewsheldateitherthesupplier’spremisesorthecustomer’spremises.DocumentssuchastheControlPlan,FMEAetc.mustbesubmittedasevidence.Thecustomercanreleasethemassproductionprocessaftercarryingoutaprocessreview/auditatthesupplier’spremisesand,wherenecessary,atthesubcontractor’spremises.Thedateandscopeoftheon-siteinspectionareagreedbetweensupplierandcustomerwithintheframeworkoftheAPQP.3.3ProjectclassificationPE3–StandardproductThesupplierreportstothedesignatedcustomercontactonaninformalbasis(withouttheuseoftheAPQPStatusReport):▪IngoodtimeintheeventofproblemsThecustomercanchecktheprogressoftheprojectduringprojectdiscussionsheldateitherthesupplier’spremisesorthecustomer'spremises.DocumentssuchastheControlPlan,FMEAetc.mustbesubmittedasevidence.4MonitoringprojectprogressThesuppliermustmonitortheprogressoftheprojectindependentlyandreporttothecustomeronthebasisoftheprojectclassification.Inordertoplantheprojectandmonitordates,thetargetdatesfortheindividualAPQPelementsmustbeenteredintheAPQPStatusReportatthestartoftheproject.Theactualdatesareenteredtodocumentthecompletionoftheelements.Ifthedateorindividualelementsareatriskofnotbeingfulfilled,thesuppliermustintroducesuitablecorrectivemeasuresandmonitortheseonhisownresponsibility.Afurthercourseofactionmustbeagreedjointlywiththecustomer.ThestatusoftheindividualelementsmustbeindicatedintheAPQPStatusReportusingthefollowingcolourcodes:StatusMeaningeen▪Date/qualityoftheelementarenotatrisk▪StartofproductionisnotatriskYellow▪Date/qualityoftheelementareatrisk▪Startofproductionisnotatrisk▪AppropriatecorrectivemeasuresandresponsiblepersonsmustbedefinedRed▪Date/qualityoftheelementwillnotbeobserved▪Star
