一、 教学内容
本课的教学内容是人民教育出版社出版的英语教材—高中英语必修一Unit 1。
本课时为Unit 1 的第一课时,教学内容包括教材第1页的Warming up 和第6页的Speaking, 学生在老师的指导下进入友情这个主题并对朋友进行描述。
二、 教学目标
(一) 语言知识目标
1、 词汇和短语:
?学生能够准确掌握并运用有关friendship的形容词和相关短语。
?学生能够正确运用褒义、贬义和中性形容词对朋友和友情进行评价。
2、 语法:
?学生能够正确使用各种时态来叙述与友情相关的故事。
3、 功能:
学生能够使用适当的句型

2、 通过小组讨论,使学生在合作中互相学习。
三、 教学重点及难点
1、 吸引学生对话题的兴趣。
2、 引导学生参与想象、讨论及”speaking out”的各个环节。
3、 帮助学生运用褒义、贬义和中性形容词对朋友和友情进行评价。
四、 教学步骤
Step ? Lead-in
Before class, arouse the students’ interests by showing the beginning of a film---“Friends”.
After that, ask some questions as follows: 1. Have you ever seen the film?
Ss: Yes, “Friends”.
2. What is the movie tells about?
Ss A: It is about six people’s daily life.
Ss B: It is about things happened between the six people.
Ss C: It is about friendship between the six people.
T: yes, it is about friendship. Now today we will learn Unit One Friendship.
Step?Warming up
1. Asking-answering activity between the teacher and the students:
T: Do you have friends? Who can be your friends?
Ss A: My classmates.
Ss B: My neighbors.
Ss C: My father and mother.
…
…
T: Great! We can make friends with anyone only if we want. What’s more, we can
regard pet such as dog, cat, rabbit; plants; diary ect as our friends. Friendship exists
everywhere in our life.
2. ? Divide the students into 6-8 groups and have them think over adjectives to list
the qualities of a good friend. The teacher should show the structure “I think a
good friend should be…; In my opinion, a good friend is someone who…” and
give an example first.
While discussion, the teacher should go among the student to help them.
? 2mins later, the representative of each group give their answers. Then the
teacher show many other adjectives. Introduce some new words to the students in
details.
Step? Speaking
1. The teacher gives a brief description of one of his or her friends including name, age,
appearance, personality, hobbies and something in common.
2. Have the students describe one of their friends in groups with the following
structures:
His/Her name is…
He/ She is…years old.
He/She likes…and dislikes…
He/She enjoys… and hates…
He/She is very kind / friendly…
When/Where we got to know each other?
3. Then have the students enjoy an English song: A Friend for Life.
Step ? Homework
Search and collect the sayings about friendship.

1、 以学生熟知的电影” Friends”引出主题,再开展老师与学生之间的问答可提高学生
的兴趣,给学生一个热身,为之后的教学营造一个良好的氛围。
2、 以小组讨论形式展开活动,老师给予指导和帮助能让学生参与其中、互相学习。
