Ship’s Net Tonnage Per Net Ton 0.60 b. Tugs Per kilowatt 0.60 1) Entry and departure to be charged separately on vessel’s net registered ton basis (or on kilowatt for tugs). 2) Minimum fees of RMB2,000.00 to be charged per voyage. 3) Scientific research ships, engineering ships (including offshore oil rigs) and their auxiliary ships, RMB1,000.00 to be charged per month/ship for those staying longer than one month after entry, in addition to the fee chargeable for each entry or departure. For cruise ships and other ships that do not load/discharge cargoes and/or embark/disembark passengers, entry and departure to be counted as one call. 4) Agency fee on ship’s net tonnage shall include the following items: ? Arranging joint inspection for ship’s entry into and departure from Chinese ports and water areas; arranging pilotage, tugs and berths; ? Negotiating and arranging ship’s repair, inspection, fumigation, holds washing and sweeping; ? Arranging supply of bunker, fresh water, provisions, stores, etc; ? Payment of tonnage dues and attending to crew registration; ? Advising the entrusting party and other related parties of ship’s movement; ? Submitting crew members’ documents, etc; ? Minimum agency fee for cargo (including passengers) is RMB?2000 per voyage. 2. 2. Agency fee on cargo shall include the following items: ? Undergoing cargo import/export formalities; arranging loading/unloading, tally, draft survey, measuring, fumigation, supervision of loading/unloading as well as inspection of cargo and cargo holds; ? Attending to Customs declaration, delivery/taking delivery, warehousing and transshipment of cargo; ? Preparing documents; ? Attending to cargo tracing, settlement of claims, and handling short loaded/discharged and over-loaded/discharged cargo; ? Collecting and paying export freight tax; ? Dangerous cargo declaration; ? Contacting shippers and consignees to prepare for cargo delivery. 3. Edible vegetable oil shall be charged with reference to the rates for crude and product oils. 4. Over-sized cargo shall be identified by Port Authorities. 0.75% of the total freight shall be charged as agency fee. 1)Arranging shipments and /or booking space; 2)Attending to container control, delivery/redelivery of leased containers and related documents; 3)Attending to purchase/sale of ships and handing/taking –over of ships sold/purchased; 4)Attending to ship chartering and delivery/redelivery of time-chartered ships; 5)Handing marine accidents and sea casualties; 6)Issuing Bills of Lading; 7)Charges for telecommunications, transportation and shipping documents; 8)Attending to ship’s repairs; 9)Purchasing and delivering of spare parts; 10)Booking international flight tickets and sea passage tickets for customers; 11)Agency fee chargeable on the second entrusting party; 12)Attending to calculation and settlement of ship’s demurrage and dispatch; 13)Superintendent (Protecting) agency fee on ship’s NRT; 14)Attending to the replacement, repatriation and visa application of crew members; escorting crew members for traveling, sightseeing and medical care, etc; 15)Application for passing through Qiongzhou Strait; 16)Attending to Customs declaration of manifests; 17)Other matters. Charges and rates enumerated under “Other Charges” above shall be negotiated by both parties on the rates actually in force. Any shipping agency company in port intending to change this agency fee rates for common interests should file the proposed new rates with China Association of Shipping Agency for file. Note: 1. The above four kinds of charges will be collected in combination according to items designated by the entrusting party. 2. All the above rates are quoted in RMB and accounts to be settled in accepted foreign currencies and at the prevailing official exchange rates issued by the Bank of China.
